A very informative video! If we may, though, we would just like to counter a generalization she makes about private Studienkollegs, the "you just pay and they accept you" point. This may be true at whatever Studienkolleg she is studying at, but here at TUDIAS in Dresden, we have strict standards for incoming students. No B1 level, no acceptance. Period. But this also means that our students have a very high success rate of actually completing the program and entering a university program of their choice at a German university. Over 90%! Being one of the very few private Studienkollegs that is state-recognized (meaning our graduates may apply to any university in Germany), it is necessary for us to maintain this high standard for our incoming students. Her advice of completing the B1 in India is a good one though, especially as you may be limited in how much you'll be able to work when you are here in Germany. Some students do choose to come to us for intensive German language courses as a preparation for the Studienkolleg, but most come with the necessary level already. A private studienkolleg, like ours in Dresden, does not have such a limit. If you can pass our entrance exam and can afford the fees, then a seat will be provided. For example, our phones haven't stopped ringing in the last few weeks as students have found out they have not been accepted at a public studienkolleg (like the one in Leipzig) and are looking for other options. Other advantages could include quality of teaching staff or willingness of administrators to support you. But that probably can't be generalized for all private or public studienkollegs. Best to find students who have had actual experience with the institute. Most importantly, a student should know if the private studienkolleg's FSP exam is accepted by universities across Germany or if it is tied to a specific. The FSP we offer at TUDIAS is accepted everywhere.

Yeah that means you have completed your 13 years of education from india which will be required to get a direct entry in a Bachelors degree program in germany and you don't have to attend studienkolleg in order to get an entrance in university in germany for your bachelors program.
I did some research and online there are materials but they're really expensive like the book I found on amazon was 7000 inr it was only for physics, basically the material you find is the exact copy of 11 and 12th syllabus just in german language.
@@sodaeditz okays, btw are you gonna give that or like i also did some research and got to know lets assume if i cleared studienkolleg i have to pay first accommodation for that year and also if somehow cleared FSP HAVE TO PAY FOR FURTHER ACCOMMODATIONS which approximately costs around 800 to 1000 Euro per month so the whole medizine will cost around 60 to 80 lakhs ik tuition fee is negligible but ppl ignore accommodation costs as there are no hostels provided by the university. And in case a person go for part time job first of all medizine itself a hectic course doing a job will fcuk that person but lets assume a brave like me 💀😭🏃🏻➡️did the part time job theyy give 10 euro per hour and there r limited working hours in a week . You can barely put one fourth of your income in total accommodation cost. So what next?
@@Jij383iioo2 it was one of my main reasons to not consider germany as I thought it would be cost efficent and I really want to do mbbs but if we take things practically...... suppose you give the FSP with around 12 lakhs in your blocked account and you get into med school so every year you have to show the same amount to study and survive further in germany. You can cut down on your cost by living in student hostels which are 200-350 euros per month including everything. part time jobs are great to have financial stability.....I'm sorry if things aren't clear as I have visited germany only during vacations and I have dropped my plan for going there.
