Life is a complicated thing dude- sorry to hear of your tragedies :( truth is we will all have them through our lives in some form or another, some worse than others. We all will suffer loss. Its a very permanent solution for a temporary problem for sure. Its generally the first world spoiling that breeds low mental and emotional fortitude- they are not truly flawed people, only products of a flawed society and culture that prefers to turns its head from certain realities and issues. Life will consist of many emotional states. To deny that certain ones exist is to deny a component of reality which leaves u in a delusional state- basically. Anyone who is always happy lives with blinkers on and is in denial of their own mental and emotional range- ie; not a full or complete person.
I always thought he was saying "state you the fact" instead of "stay and chew the fat". Also, at the end it sounds like he's saying "only", but live it sounds like "all day". Thoughts?

i give up, you're right, people are different, some people might be weaker mentally and can't deal with tragedies. i have experienced tragedies, it takes a few years to put things like that behind, but suicide is insanity, in extreme and i mean REALLY Extreme cases it could be understood, but not these 1st world country spoiled brats.

ouch... In which case I'd recommend you dont listen to Radiohead's song The National Anthem; that would really piss you off. Its got lots of nasty dischordant bits in it. Its quite wonderfull.

this just shows the brilliance of radiohead as they pull off another genre-crossing classic. oozes quality and their attention to detail.
