A very good review of this unusual locomotive. Your English is excellent by the way! I agree with you about how poor the instructions are. I have recently bought a new Hornby steam locomotive and the instructions of how to fit one of their sound decoders to the tender was so vague. I would have been interested to see how you removed the body of the class 71, as I have bought a preowned one and the instruction sheet is missing. I want to fit a Hornby decoder to it. Was it difficult to remove?
Good evening, to remove the body was not very difficult. The biggest problem was to fit the the decoder and the wires in the locomotive. I hat to try it a few times because the body did not fit so well on the frame. I can tell you i will nerver remove the body again😅.
Thank-you very much for the review of this brilliant loco, your discussion is gratefully appreciated. Kind regards, Greg, N.Z.
