No, for me it’s like 100W per channel. There is class D amplifier, which can produce a lot of power but it produce more distorted sound than A/B amplifiers. The size of class D amplifiers is smaller than others amplifiers, what you can see.
No wattage rating is legit unlike most other speakers from this time actually. if you actually look at the drivers in this system, along with the gt90, they are some pretty nice drivers. sound AMAZING too.
I have this bookshelf system but i have 2 8 inch speakers at 160 watts. The bass is phenominal for this kinda sytem. I watch movies through the speakers. Excellent sound!!.

I never question their output level. The aesthetics, we clearly differ on that. That is why we are human. :) I grew up in the 80's when tech was rectangular. Clean crisp lines, tactile metal buttons....Sony was so good at in their mini systems...like the 80's era FH series BEFORE they started "bloating" them in the 90's. I am a a square I guess. Alien shaped speaker trumpet horns frighten me.
