- Ring Virtual Security Guard, our live, customizable motion event monitoring service, gets even better when you pair it with Amazon Astro.
Astro is designed to help you monitor your property, by navigating around defined spaces on its own- patrolling and investigating detected events. When paired with Virtual Security Guard (1), Astro can immediately head to the area of a tripped Ring Alarm sensor (2) while Agents assess the situation and take appropriate action - all in real-time, day or night.
(1) Virtual Security Guard is available only within the U.S. (all 50 states, but not U.S. territories), and is an add-on service that requires enrollment, and the following: a subscription fee per enrolled location in addition to a compatible Ring Protect plan and a Ring Alarm system (both sold separately), and Ring Alarm professional monitoring. Rapid Response is the seller and provider of the camera motion monitoring service and agents. Ring bills your Ring account for this service. Virtual Security Guard subscription fee includes 175 monitored motion events per month. Opt into Extra Events for an additional cost. Professional monitoring service is available only within the U.S. (all 50 states, but not U.S. territories) and in Canada (excluding Quebec). Ring does not own its own professional monitoring center. with a remote controlled finger bot and a stun gun works my vaccum security robot, he has also a eufy camera on top, so i was abusing his cleaning plan mode and turn it into a security patrolmode who can be remotely controlled so i can drive into a intruder and use flashlight and the stungun and ofcourse the microphone for early warnings. all together was about 300$ and way cheaper so you have a security guard who cleanse your home from dust and intruders to specific programmed times and even on his charging station the camera will be still on with flashlight spotlight mode.
That would be a crime for the robot

So, can I use the Ring Always Home Drone in conjunction with my Astro? For example, can Astro dispatch the drones to upstairs since he's on the bottom floor, and can it all be controlled from 1 hub? Lastly does it have facial recognition like the Astro, or is it all 1 eco system so that info comes from Astro?

I have one of those robots as well. It’s the same one.
So far mine’s been a delight. I am in the process of designing a small helper for it with raspberry pi. Similar to a simplified Johnny Five. Facial and voice recognition amazing. Gps glitched a few times and got confused lol. Fixed itself fast though.
