      This didn't start with Trudeau. It just went totally of the map either because he allowed it by design or because he is just plain stupid. Any MP with an ounce of intelligence has been aware of what's been happening. There has developed an extreme reluctance among them to say or do anything that could be construed as anti-foreigner. This has led to a distorted view of reality culminating in the that most ridiculous of propositions stated by the Prime Minister when he said, "Canada is the world's first post-national state." It's all part of the Canadian political ethnopandering complex.
      Temporary Foreign Workers and foreigners on student visas are replacement workers. Don't be afraid of the word "scab". Union members outside the public service are the Canadians who understand this. The girls who work as staff at the CLC don't. it's time for a reckoning. Young Canadian workers and others who have been thrown out of work are being replaced before they have a chance to get the job. Canadians should have the same amount of empathy for replacement workers as the replacements had for the people that they replaced.

      A co plate stop in immigration would actually be harmful unless we have at least a sustainable birth rate for many consecutive decades, otherwise we won’t have enough workers for many jobs. What we need is to go back how we had it prior to the early 80s where we basically only let in skilled labour. Specifically skilled labour we were lacking. This is proper immigration. What we have now are people who can’t support themselves. So not only are we spending all this money to bring people here, we are also spending tens of thousands per person every year to support them for potentially their whole life and they may never work to put any tax dollars into the system.

    I've been seeing industry after industry destroyed. Stagnant wages and Canadians having issues finding work. Employers are offering low wages and no benefits and claiming on LMIAS they can't find a Canadian to do the job. The government is giving them tax rebates and bonuses for hiring newcomers. I have seen this first hand. It's such a mess!

    These jobs are also predominantly held by youth, young adults, woman, and elderly/retiree. This is clearly buying votes for next year. Early this year I had two interviews at Costco with two references, and didn't get hired because I was told they hired about 100 Indian temp workers, who don't speak English, who don't want to do any physical labor, they eat by themselves outside under a tent rather than the lunchroom. Some have spoken about their situation, and basically they're told to vote liberal, if they want faster permanent residency they can work at Tim's for 3 years. They were also told that they would get a house, manager position or lead, permanent res right away, and basically a fast track into society.

  • @Terry-rk2pr
    @Terry-rk2pr หลายเดือนก่อน +9

    What changed is that they can’t see a future where normal jobs will pay enough that they will ever be able to afford the dream of owning a home, have a beneficial life and retire with comfort. Inflation, along with suppressed wages leaves them with no dream of success.
    Foreigners come from an overpopulated, underprivileged society where moving to Canada is a huge step up. Once here, they can live with multiple others in a single apartment, saving living expenses. This is still better than the life they left, in their minds. Sadly, when they get their citizenship, they will vote for the same socialist party that ruined the country they left. Also, they get into an employment in numbers and slowly overtake the workforce in that place, driving off the young workers from Canada.
    The large corporations get cheaper labor, a pat on the back from the government for being so accommodating and approval from the bleeding hearts of our society.
    Meanwhile, our young people have to live in their parents basement, since they have no future outlook and limited access to decent jobs.
    The future of Canada will probably look like a cross between mostly East India, some Philippines influence, a good percentage Chinese, along with a good showing of African influence. Once this happens, Canada will be the same shit hole that all these people moved from. The natural resources will be depleted and the socialist/ communist system that will take over will take the properties that are presently privately owned, much like what happened in British Guyana.

I practiced for interviews, I did lots of small jobs for experience such as cutting grass for the neighborhood and such. Once I had the job, I had to perform in order to keep the job because someone else could take my place.
