One of my dream is to study in Nust and this vlog was literally amazing, there are a lot of universities which are good in sort of teaching stuff and education, but the bad quality of hostel life just ruin their all the priorities, But after watching this video I'm more in love with Nust, Affan bhai please make a video in which you must guide us that how should we prepare to get admission in Nust.
I hope you make it to your dream university. Best of luck. I will make a guide video as well but after some time.

First I was confused for my son's addmission in NUST and the hostel environment BUT after these vlogs I am more relaxed that boys are from not only good families but are very respectful.

I am really glad that this video helped you in some way. Generally the facilities offered in NUST's hostels are better than most of the other hostels. While I would like to mention here that you will find all kinds of people almost everywhere but generally the students who come to NUST are decent.
As for SAT, I cannot guide you more about it since I never gave the test, I opted for NET and got into NUST on the basis of that. I am sure you can find plenty of useful resources on the web and youtube.

You know, this was reminiscent of my days! That route you took from SEECS to Hostels was all unpaved and steep back then!
Things have changed so much during my 4 years here. You should visit NUST sometime. You’ll be glad to find out the changes here.

The expenses are in detail mentioned on the website. It varies from 22-35k I think.

@@darkfairy6308 wow so high. What were your marks in NET and SSC result. I only got to 1394 but I'm planning to do Civil Engineering and hopefully will get in on the 3rd merit list
@@saveed7253 InshaAllah you will get in, see the closing merit position for last year in civil engineering. I got 168 in NET and in SSC I got 1011 and in HSSC I got 1000. And I will be doing major in chemistry.

You can, at times.
What do you mean at times?
There’s no such rule that stops you from bringing a console (I think) but there are times the warden doesn’t allow you and sometimes he says nothing about it.

What is the merit of software eng. Is it less than other eng. Like electrical or mechanical
top mech then electrical then chemical then civil atleast get 140+ for software and 150+ for top 4 engg dept
Yes it generally is.
130+ with 80% in FSC is good enough for software engineering.
Bhai i got 350 marks in Fsc 1. So how much are required NET marks for software engineering

This is the first time someone asked me about this. Glad to know someone's interested in the teaching aspect as well.
Anyways, some of the lecturers are amazing and some are average. In a university you have to study yourself, the lecturer is just to guide you what to study and help in understanding things a little.
