How wonderful to have a homestead on family land. We are multigenerational, just getting our homestead going. I’m hoping our land will be in the family for generations. Loved seeing your family orchard. A fruit orchard was the first thing we planted on our property.
@annreese5100 It sure is! We have truly been blessed! There's not a lot of multigenerational land anymore. It seems our farmlands are being sold off to create housing developments - and such a shame to see something that once was working land to a family's sustainability being sold off like that. Aww….nickname Bug…❤I nicknamed my nephew as a child “ Booger” as a baby. As he grew….his nickname is Bug-a-Boo today…❤
@cbass2755 that is so cute! 😊Aren't nicknames the greatest! I got stuck with mine since elementary school! When I was little everyone called me Missy and I hated it! I was more of a tomboy growing up - loved to ride bikes, build forts in the woods - I guess growing up with a brother that just sometimes happen. But anyway, my stepdad knew how I felt about being called Missy and so he suggested Miki instead - and yes, I know it's nowhere near spelled like it sounds, but he came up with the spelling too, so I just kept it throughout the years. People I went to school with - most of them don't even know me by my real name - that's the only name they know me by. 😂🤣
@@CelebratingFarmLife I like Mike! I am one of five kids. I grew up with three brothers too. Then, ten years later, sister was born…she’s the last. All five of us are doing as well as can be expected today. My brothers taught me how to stand up for myself..lol…and I did and do! lol…
@@cbass2755 That is so wonderful growing up in a larger family with siblings! Nice having brothers too! Mine was younger than me - so I took up for him quite a lot growing up. I think we taught each other to stand up for ourselves 😂😂
