I really wish people would stop saying they won’t watch One Piece because it’s so long. Once you actually give it a try you’ll be upset that it isn’t longer. If I could go back and see it for the first time all over again I immediately would. Same goes for many others. One of the best stories of all time.

Ik u used to say it was too long as well but then for some reason one day I was so bored I started it and I watched like 12 episodes on that day and I kept watching so much that I was caught up to the anime and manga in like 4 months. I wish I could go back and watch it all over again without knowing what happens again. I always say it’s the best story ever told now lol. I do now regret it one bit.
I LOVE One Piece with all my heart. But it's a perfectly valid reason not to watch, bro. Maybe they have lots of other anime that is being recommended to them or they dont have much time to watch anime or just watch casually and prefer to watch a variety of shows. It's not wrong to not want to watch due to it's length. My brother is the same and it's perfectly fine.

On January 1st of this year I started reading One Piece, just finished Fish-Man Island heading into Punk Hazard. I’ve laughed and cried like never before and have absolutely fallen in love with this world and it’s characters…truly a story for the ages, cannot wait to see what else Oda has in store.

@@Infinite_EditsYT I use the offical Viz media site which is subscription based. But I’m certain you can some fan translations or scans online, just be sure to use a VPN or add blocker if you do.
I am also aware that many don’t like the Viz translation and prefer fan translations for more accurate dialogue (for example In the Viz translation it’s Zolo not Zoro) I use it out of convenience.

I as well was one of those "I won't ever watch One Piece, too long, too complicated". Then I hit rock bottom in my life, I was about to quit when I said "Yeah whatever I'll just watch a few episodes, nothing matters anymore anyway" and it was the beginning of the best fucking journey of my life. Watch One Piece, become a nakama and you'll thank us! I wish I could go back in time and start again this wonderful ride!

At first, I said “Anime sucks! Why would people watch it? It’s just art!” A friend recommended One Piece to me. Being the person I was, I declined. But one day, I decided to give it a try! I’m on the Wano Arc. I personally believe that this anime is so full of art (no pun intended), and it’s one of the greatest story ever! I learned to never judge something without even experience/trying it. The One Piece is actually the memories we made along this journey!

@@bopfitz5044 Haven't had long term anxiety or depression in many years. Literally that 8 days ago when I posted my comment is the last time I had anxiety so that's not it. But one piece used to be such a masterpiece I had a strong emotional connection to the characters it makes me sad that I can't relive it.

I watched alot of the mainstream anime like Attack on Titan, Death Note, My Hero Academia, One Punch, Parasite, etc. But I never watched One Piece, I just recently heard about it this year. People kept saying that it was the best sotry ever written. And with the arrival of GEAR 5, the hype around the show was enormous. But like alot of newcomers, I kept being put off by the length and the older animation style. Finally, I decided to partake in the show and in October of 2024. I'm almost caught up, with ep. 1039 being my current status. Best decision I ever made and I can say with confidence that THIS IS THE BEST STORY!

sometimes I don't understand myself how important is one piece for me.
I started whatching OnePie in 2013-14, when I was 9 years old. We were in punk hazard but I didn't know it, I had just started on a small boat, everything was new, everything was calmer, I had my problems, but I had security, and I was sure that everything would be fine. One piece accompanied me in those years of tranquility, and followed me, accompanying me for two years until everything started to move more and more, both me and luffy started to discover what rensponsability and real problems were... One Piece was always by my side and that's why just listening to a little bit of an opening of the series makes me wanna cry.
I remember not only the first time I heard it, I remember my first reactions and I remember how simple life was back then. I don't know if I would like to return to those moments but I know that something inside me longs for them. Rough seas are ahead, I don't know if I'm prepared. Listening to the latest opening of One Piece, sung by the same guy who sang the first one and many more, destroys me inside. It gives me happiness and a feeling of home that self-destructs and I can't help but cry. One piece has seen me grow and I love it with all my heart. I can't express how sad it makes me that someone doesn't give it a chance even if they understand it. I don't know, I just wanted to express it because I'm halfway through the ops and I've already cried like I've been stabbed.
I caught up mid deessrosa
I lived gear 4th's cliffhangers and popped my eyes out seing luffy shotgun his arms.
I was 14 and while others were watching "aida" or "la que se avecina" (some green humour shows of the country I live in), I was watching one piece and going through my good "hard knock days" alongside it. (ne following ops don't make me cry XD) with constant changes of environment. I had a hard time adapting, I went through many personal changes and grew a lot as a person. I got a lot of my personality today from Luffy. I am who I am today thanks to this series and I followed it with stronger or softer intensity until today.
When I recommend one piece I guess I'm not recommending my journey, my journey is unique and can't be reproduced, but my experience is what I have in mind when "gifting" the series to someone.
In Zou I disconnected a little, I unintentionally skipped almost everything of whole cake, but I reconnected in katakuri and jumped straight to the manga. I am a huge fan today and it fills me with pride to see where the series is going. How popular it became and the changes It's been given, life action, WIT adaptation. I hope that many more people discover it and enjoy it, I hope that it accompanies many more as it kept by my side.
Sorry for the text I just had to express how deeply I love this series and how much I love that there are, every day, more and more of US!!!!
I started watching op at around the same time when i was 11 or 12 or sth. I also caught up mid dressrosa arc so i can testify that every opening up to hard knock days just hits differet. Adult life is fucking hard. I have been through heartbreak, depression, drugs, loneliness and other adult life shit so i felt it when you said that hearing those openings made you remember a time when life was simple. Sadly, i quit one piece after the dressrosa arc was over because the pacing was too slow up until the doflamingo fight and waiting week after week for stupid episodes that tried to stretch time as much as possible made me hate it for a while. Still i promised to pick it up where i left it and the fact that im here listening to 1 full hour of one piece openings and feeling so much nostalgia means i still have love for the show, so im definitely keeping my promise. Despite the fact that i quit op, it really made me fall in love with anime in general and to this day, i never watch moveis or series or anything. Only anime, and that is because of op.

I really like the Openings with a sense of adventure or excitement. I know the story takes dips into serious and sad moments so a fitting opening helps, but the exciting ones really are One Piece.
I watched One Piece and it took me 6 months for watching 1st episode to Wano Arc, plus Movies
and for me, it's worth it no matter how long the episode is, the story is just as good.
And if you started to watched this Anime, you will feel it, and not really board

I really like the story between opening 12-15. Story is already great in those arcs (ofc it is one piece), but even when only looking at openings, you can feel the great story and how it went.
Opening 12: Even though it is disliked by some, I feel like it really fits to the impel down arc. Probably my reasoning for this one will not be logical since it is only based on my feelings, but I feel great hope in this song. It is based on feeling the wind, calming aura of this song is kind of an opposite to the arc, and this makes it better imo. It is the start of the journey of saving Ace, and Luffy has hope for it. Actually looking impel down from now, nothing that bad happened until this far. It is like a calm before storm. (That whitebeard smile is one of my favorite moments in any anime opening)
Opening 13: Well, the masterpiece. Idk why but opening 13's are always good for some reason. This opening is for war, and I think it is certain that it fits the war really well. Showcasing both sides while Luffy is only running for Ace. And in the end there is still hope, but it is darker now, and Ace is about to die.
Opening 14: It is about pain and healing. My favorite one peace opening. It actually covers all parts of Luffy's healing, dealing with past, remembering everything happened, and finding himself a reason to continue by remembering his friends. This one is awesome for more than one reason. Like his friends doing their best while seperated. Getting ready to continue.
Opening 15: This one is extremely good one for refreshing new start. It includes nostalgia and energy for awaiting adventures and a wonderful way to start post-timeskip era.
I wrote this just for admiration. They are too good together. This story is easily one of the best story sequences in anime, and their openings match their greatness. (except maybe opening 12 for you)
It's superbly dazzling and breathtaking. They're all brilliant and brilliantly put together, All of them are splashy and striking at once, and I loved them all. It's going to be the best hour of non-stop listening.🥰😊😇🔥❤❤❤💖💖🥰😊🙂

Imagine something of higher/similar quality compared to naruto, and its 1100+ episodes long, this is one piece
Naruto isn’t even that good, it’s sad people don’t realize that. Shippuden tarnished nearly everything built up from the OG series, including Naruto and sasuke’s character arcs. Plus, female characters in the series are all horrible. Hinata had good backstory in the OG series but in shippuden, she’s reduced to just “omg I love naruto”

I discovered One Piece when i was 13 years old (2003). It was such a huge part of my life. After opening 15 (episode 517) i had a falling out with the series. I never wanted to admit to myself that one piece had turned sour, but it had. Now i only watch it because i can't let it go. And i constantly rewatch the golden days and curse the current days.

Sure, you could call One Piece a wierd anime, and it can be quite challenging to grasp the story at first, but behind the weirdness is the great journey along the beautiful story.. If given a chance, I would want to rewatch One Piece like it is the first time I have ever engaged in anime. There will never be another anime like One Piece.

As much as I like the other openings, 26 has that energy and flexibility that the other openings just doesn’t. It’s like the “Departure” of One Piece openings.

I watched liked 30-40 episodes a day, sometimes, it would go over 40 to 50. I started watching on january 7 2024, now im almost done in whole cake island... Tbh since when i started watching one piece, it healed the hole that the pandemic time created..
