I m the dad still looking down the road for my youngest son. I keep on praying for him and planting the word of God in his ears. Please i pray to the Father to draw my son to His Glorious Son Jesus.
My brother became a Christian when he was 19. He prayed for me for over 40 years. I became a Christian when I was 62! James 5:16 The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Praying with you for your son.❤

God's timing was perfect because I was a control freak and there wasn't one thing I could control in the situation. I was completely and totally dependent on Him and I clung to him like a barnacle. I only asked for her eternal salvation, just that and nothing more. So even if she died on the streets we would have eternity together, praising God forever. And boy did I ask EVERYONE to pray for her. God completely restored her, all the years the locusts ate, beauty from ashes, all of it. I could see pictures of her whenever she was in jail and by the end, right before she went to prison, she looked demonic, it was a spiritual battle for sure. It scared me, so I just hung on to Him for dear life. You love your son, Jesus loves Him more. He hears all the prayers. In His time and in His way He will answer. We have a God who is mighty to save!

The Lord revealed this to me 15 years ago. I was the elder brother, I was the prodigal. Turned my understanding into a hunger and thirst for The Word and true repentance for my sins.
I have three sons, two from my first marriage and the other from my second marriage. I wasn't able to spend a lot of time with my first two sons cause they moved away with their mother. However I was able to see my youngest son grow up into adulthood. I wouldn't give my youngest anymore than I would give my first two sons. To me they all rank the same in my heart. God is faithful and fair to all his children, He loves us all the same as long as we repent and come back to the righteous path as best we can. Those who refuse to come to Jesus to the end He will punish.
Well Voddie you are right. I find myself relating to every individual in this story at some point in my life. Praise God He knows me and his grace and mercy are sufficient for me and I hopefully will pass them along.
We need the true gospel in South- Africa, please pray for us our country is full of false teachers and prosperity gospel and fake churches....it's very hard living in a country without true sound doctrine

According to reformers and their theology, EVERYTHING HAS ALREADY BEEN PREDETERMINED, PREORDAINED, DECREED. God chose a few for heaven (elect) and the rest for eternity in Hell, and guess, what they won't even be told about the Gospel because they are predestined etc etc for hell. Reformed theology is wacked! John 3:16-17 is not complicated!!
