- Jackson Beck provides the voice over for this 1973 film. This is one of a number of Jeep Commercial Films I've collected over the years and have uploaded. This has been previously uploaded on youtube by another person based off a poor VHS copy. This film is made from the original negative which was in poor condition.

my 'actuall owned first vehicle - 1977 but unfortunaly spent its life in va beach salt and someone turned the odometer back (common back then) - i still loved her - learned a lot (rebuilt engine, transmission, front differential - front lockers - multiple times the clutch - had to make special tools to get to the upper bell housing bolts - a rust bucket for sure, but she was MINE!)
Ahhhhhh yeah, that was the good ol days, go JEEP 🇺🇸👍
Its too bad these didnt sell more.
I remember the Commando well. My Uncle was a Jeep dealer from 1969 - 1992.
Tough choice between the 232 SIX and the 258 SIX. Do I really need that extra 3.5 horsepower or should I opt for the engine that gets me an extra quarter mile to the gallon?
lol - mine was the 232. pretty easy to rebuild (pull and put back in)
This is a neat vehicle I never knew they ever made this version of the Jeep. Very informative all three engine lineups were outstanding engines. Haven't heard of use a 232cu inch 6 in a long time! I like this informative video thank Osman!
Jeep commando vs Ford Bronco
bronco's had the power - the v8 power. Bronco's were much larger in comparison. Commando's lacked the low end get up and go - but i was much lighter when i had mine lol
👍
