She does have a published book of poetry! I own it, and it's beautiful and aesthetic, so that ninth house Cancer stellium playing out in the ninth totally checks out, in my opinion!
Charlotte, thank you for listening to our suggestions! The way I run to watch this video... Not only have you covered my favourite artist of all time, but what you said about the Leo Moon on top of her chart hits home as I share this placement with Lana. I feel like kwa1174 pretty much explained everything about Lana's upbringing and family dynamics. Let me just add: at 14, Lana struggled with an addiction to alcohol, and she was sent to a boarding school where she had an affair with a teacher. His name is Gene Campbell, and when they met, she was 15 and he was in his twenties. He introduced her to Lolita, Walt Whitman, Tupac, Biggie, old movies, etc. So many of her songs seem to be about him. Could it be the male figure that took advantage of her in her teenage years? I've always wondered if she hints on an affair with a pastor in the "church basement romances" line. She seems to have a really good and close relationship with her father, Robert, so I don't know where her daddy issues come from. The mother, on the other hand, is portrayed as glamorous yet distant. I'm sooo excited for a synastry reading with her alligator husband.
From what I passively know about her life from the few interviews she'd do and the deep-dives, Lana Del Rey's father was an executive copywriter before pivoting into web domains were he grew to become a successful entrepreneur. She grew up in a posh ski-town called Lake Placid in upstate New York. She caused havoc in her early teens going to dive bars and such as recorded in Born to Die (2012) and got sent away from to boarding school in Connecticut called Kent School, which is also quite posh.
I don't think that much is known of her mother. She's mentioned in passing, living in the collective memory of Del Rey's songs as an authority who is disapproving or distant and glamorous. Patricia Ann Hill is mentioned most in the leaked, unreleased demo "Sirens" (2005-2006), when Lana Del Rey went under the pseudonym of May Jailer, in tracks like "My Momma" and "Aviation". Old Money from Del Rey's Ultraviolence (2014) also mentions her parents, however only her mother's glamor but her father's love, feeding the long held public belief that Del Rey and her mother did not get along. For Blue Banisters (2021), I think she released two albums that year but I'd have to double-check that, she sings "I'm not friends with my mother, but I still love my dad" in Black Bathing Suit; also explains her childhood trauma, "my father never stepped in when his wife ragged at me/So I ended up awkward and sweet...." in Wildflower Wildfire. She also mentioned taking lithium, a mood stabilizer used for mental disorders, which brought forth poetry. Though never confirming if she meant her mother or a stepmother. Later in Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd (2023), Del Rey confirms her mother's cruel words to her during her adolescence and how she still thinks of them in Fingertips to her sister Caroline H. "Chuck" Grant
The poverty aspect you mentioned was perhaps that time she was living that actual la bohéme lifestyle in Manhattan Mobile Home Park, a trailer park in Nork Bergen, New Jersey. During her starving, unconventional artist time, Del Rey was living in a trailer park, circa 2006-2009, after her demo deal under May Jailer for "Sirens" with 5 Points Records only paid her $10,000 as a n advance, she bought the mobile home as a residence and began working with producer, David Kahne. There's even some clips of her giving interviews from the trailer park she lived in, most notably with Brea Trembley for Index Magazine. In 2014, the public tried to turn on Del Rey after she spoke about struggling financially as an artist and working her way up. Spectators pointed out her privileged upbringing and brought into question her origins and authenticity claiming that she only plays characters of manufactured struggle, however surviving interviews and tapes and photographs of her during that time refute that claim on one piece of her origin story, she did in fact live in a trailer in a mobile park in New Jersey and there's receipts to prove it.
Oh, and before I move on from this topic. I'm realizing that I have passively absorbed way more than I thought about her throughout the years 😅. Del Rey actually has a Bachelor's degree of Arts in Philosophy, specializing in Metaphysics and almost getting a minor in Spanish from Fordham College in the Bronx, New York, which she completed in 2008 after releasing Kill Kill, under Lizzy Grant. In Aviation, she actually mentions her degree in philosophy but most fans only started in Born to Die and didn't listen to the Lizzy Grant/May Jailer tracks that just had interesting lore.
"My father never stepped in when his wife (her mother) would rage at me, so I ended up awkward but sweet. Later then hospital beds; still on my feet" - Wildflower Wildfire. I too have Saturn at 22 degrees and I could have written those lines.
She recently had a day in a life video on Vogue, which I happened to watch, and what immidiately screamed out was, why is her father so weird? I felt icky watching her talk about her life / him and this Saturn in the 1st house 22''22 degrees confirms it. He's father wants to be famous himself and shine and does it through using Lana.. Quote from Lana " Yeah that's my dad, if you don't know he is the real star of this family. I am just pulling the weight, pulling the MONEY.And he is pretty much the face of this whole thing, which will be revealed probably after I am DEAD. He'll probably be alive still as a starfish reincarnated. This is some pretty intimate content. So this is why I'm not ALLOWED on camera." This really feels like the father controls how she comes across and what she shows to the media, that must be one of the reasons why she is so private. Another scene from the video is where they are driving to Leeds to another concert of Lana in a car together and talking about a past show she did. The dad kinda says how the biggest thing about the concert was the the weather being cold, which Lana answers quote "Not me singing, just the weather" Her dad making her feel less than she is. Lana in the car says quote "My video is his video, his video is my video". She is definately under the thumb of her dad. Lana says quote "I knew if there was ever a documentary made about me, if you want to know anything about me, like she (cameraman) should just keep filming you guys." (Cameraman pointing to her dad and some other male friend). Another scene is in a dressing room bts of the show Lana is with Jack Antonoff, and next to them ofc the dad. Rob Grant. They "jokingly call him the actual star of this" Jack Antonoff even calls her dad the only person who is above Jack with fashion choices. Now the creepiest part of all, Jack describes working on songwriting with Lana quote from Jack "Like when I am alone with Lana and we are doing work, and I want to REALLY get in her HEAD, I do your voice" (talking about her dad🤮). I personally think that why she doesn't sing about the problems with her dad, "daddy issues" which we can all see from her bad partner choices in the past, is because she is still very much controlled by her dad. Pluto and Saturn both in Scorpio on her ascendant.
I’m so glad I found your channel. I find these so interesting. I want so badly to have my chart read but I’m trying to understand what everything means better first 😂
I just saw a ten-minute clip of her on tour with her father-- Robert and she talked about him a lot! It appears that he travels with her all the time and she seemed really close to him.
I know she has had a really bad relationship with her mother and that she felt her mother basically abandoned her in early teens when she was going through a lot. She went to both boarding school and I think studied abroad as a child.
My ex has Pluto in 12th square moon. 29 degree scorpio rising, conjunct my pluto. He also has sun square Uranus. He takes a lot of drugs, very habitually. Didn't find this out until we were well into our relationship. When I told him he should resolve his parent issues otherwise the drugs will destroy his body, he turned to other vices. Lord have mercy, he was very intense lol.
Does having Jupiter rx mean we'll never have undisappointing husbands? I know this sounds weird to ask but I also have Venus rx with my NN in Leo and love is so important to me
I honestly Don't really believe that the submissive and co dependency she displays is natural. It seems like a learned behavior ,Submissive isn't bad but With all the programming we have and people's lack of motivation to Look at it, I am suspicious that it's fully authentic.
You are right. In astrology, only Venus in Libra talks about romantical love, meanwhile Venus in Taurus describes the love one has for his parents(Taurus represents the roots, the origins)=>daddy issues. All those planets in the 8 th house shows she's hypersexual and she's using sex to gain love. Lilith there suggest a lot of rage against men because daddy issues women attract a lot of emotionally unavailable men. Chiron there shows that her relationship with men is something she must heal. Not gonna go any further but the 8th house placements and Pluto in the 12th is not a good sign...
Wow, I had no idea “Cola” was about Harvey Weinstein, it makes sense. It’s so sad cause is such a great song. 😭 I loved this reading, Lana is such a complex and fascinating human and you did her justice imo, thank you. 🙏🏻🩷

She was dealing with alcoholism at 14 which suggests some kind of abuse from the family, even if it wasn't sexual
I’m so glad I found your channel. I find these so interesting. I want so badly to have my chart read but I’m trying to understand what everything means better first 😂
Read for Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes
Yes please
What a treat! I just clicked and I'm so happy thank you for thisssssssss!!!
Hi Charlotte! Thank you for your reading! Would you be able to do a synastry read on Diana Spencer & Dodi Al-Fayed? ❤
I just saw a ten-minute clip of her on tour with her father-- Robert and she talked about him a lot! It appears that he travels with her all the time and she seemed really close to him.
Loved this! ❤
I can relate to her as a cancer sun and mars with Scorpio rising. Life feels like a constant struggle and need for privacy.
2 songs mention Harvey-Cola and Hit & Run
I know she has had a really bad relationship with her mother and that she felt her mother basically abandoned her in early teens when she was going through a lot. She went to both boarding school and I think studied abroad as a child.
Mars in Cancer people are so delicate
"Let me put on a show for you darling", she sings.

Love thisss!
Can you do Rihanna
Ahhhh. I tell everyone about how you told me my chart was a bit Lana del Rey sad girl vibes 😂
Would love it if you could read Halsey's chart! Her last work is incredibly vulnerable 🥺🩷
Love the moody Lana music awesome
Does having Jupiter rx mean we'll never have undisappointing husbands? I know this sounds weird to ask but I also have Venus rx with my NN in Leo and love is so important to me
Idt she was in love w Harvey at all, she just said she wanted to make the song to basically have a sugar baby in Hollywood vibe. It’s a satirical song
The album it came from (paradise) is about losing ur humanity in Hollywood and then finding redemption
Would you please consider doing Melanie Martinez's chart?

Can you read zendaya's chart
That would be soooo good. And also Tom Holland… I don’t think they’re gonna last
I think she admitted to sleeping with men so she can sell records and fame in the industry but it did not help her career which annoyed her.
What about south node conjunct Venus 7th house?
North node with Venus= finding love? my Venus is with my north node 😳🧐
What about Elon Musk's chart ?
Honestly the less I know about him the better
But... Her Jupiter is in Aquarius.. which is an Air sign? Isn't it?
It is an air sign
Read for Ryan Gosling
