When I was a near savant follower I had almost all his tracks including this. And also remember a live show when he wents crazy with a Synth. This was a very nice discover in that time. And now like 10 years after, sounds fresh like the first time ❤ I love the chorus
Damn the feels to hear this back. It broke me to tears. I have so many great memories with this song 😭😭 I wanted to listen to it on Spotify but it isn't there 😭
i love both this version and the overworld version equally! i like to think that the overworld version is through the perspective of the rival in this video or a bad ending where aleks loses the race due to engine problems.
Really nice song, deserves a higher view count for sure. After a single listen it sticks to your mind, urging you to come back for more. And I definitely will. Keep up the good work!
What's interesting is how Savant moved from this style to EDM later on but hey, that's not necessarily a bad thing. And of course the original song is the best but keep in mind Overworld focused on chiptune-esque sound with instruments and heavy wobbles, which is a reminder of how heavy Dubstep and Electro Rock used to be at its time so he'd emphasize on that with his "remix" of this song.
+Gabriel Ignacio Savant has always been EDM, thats the whole purpose of his Savant project. Vinter In Hollywood is supposed to fit a different style of music. I just wish he would visit the other stage names every once and a while
+Matt McP (Matthew) wellll, you can consider Protos a return to ViH feels, and his recent revival of Blanco. He's also back on track with classical, which he mainly did under Morphine, and his hiphop mixtape is really like Datakrash. In the last couple of months also some metal mixtapes uploads on soundcloud and a full vinter in vegas album on youtube. So what do you want him to visit next? Numa, twin world, dead surfer's club?
+Gabriel Ignacio If you want to see something even more interesting, he did the soundtrack for Castle Repercussions, and that's even further from his EDM style.
+Cogs I really like savants creative mind though, the fact he comissioned the details and visuals of this as an OMV, and it truely shows quite the promise from Savant. ut sure, I'll take a listen and a gander at Castle Repercussions.
The video remind me so much of the anime "Red Line". Also love the small references in this video, like the boat from Vinter beeing called "Spacewolfe", which is a song of his.
This song gives me a kind of inspiration from more of a psychotic place, not meaning crazy or evil, but meaning feeling inspired in a way where its just, great.
Je l'adore cette musique, elle résonne en moi et me faire sourire. J'aimerais qu'elle ne s'arrête jamais... And Aleksander, youre voice is beautiful, seriously. Oo
+Drew Bosco Its most likely from off Savant's Overworld album - There is a song also called 'ride like the wind', which was savant remixing his original version (this video) into a more dubsteppy song. I actually much prefer the original one in this vid!
Oh my dear god. I haven't had this mix of mature melodies and Saturday morning Asian cartoon nostalgia from childhood memories. I like your overworld version as well, but this one is just PHENOMENAL and has such nice polarity in contrast to most of your work.
I remember seeing this posted on DeletionQuality (the same as the old Castle inkmen/stick figure fight series) Always loved the artstyle for this. It felt... vibrant.
Gotta say the version on the overworld album always disappointed me with a awesome hype in the beginning then ruining with dubstep, but this version is so SO AWESOME! It completely lived up to what I wanted the other song to be.
Nice going Oscar, glad you finished. Spectacular especially considering this is one of your few animations (im aware of) thats not stick figures, which are also massivly impressive.
Totally awesome! I don't usually even listen to this kind of music, but this stuff has something in it.And oh, Cry brought me here! ('Cause the man has a good taste in music)
The race totally reminds me the module's race in Star Wars Episode 1 The Phantom Menace: the canyon, the "ambush", etc. Great! And great song too! *___*
I like indoctrinating my indoor cycling class riders to Savant with this song. I have both versions, and I like this one better for every day listening, but the one on Overworld for a workout class.
The animation here is on par with a lower cartoon or anime, and considering this was done by one person, that's pretty damn impressive. The song isn't bad, and it's a great video. Kudos.
Every few years this song claws its way back into my memory and I struggle to find it.
But I always end up back here.
Great song.

I could never forget this song.
I keep coming back to this and now I finally know what it reminds me of. Redline the movie...
The chorus in this song is one of your best Mr. Vinter.
This song will forever be stuck in my head 💯💯 even in 2024 😅
Yep, it's still a great tune.

Very old*

I like that this has the nostalgic 2010 vide yet it is way ahead of its time.
I couldn’t find this song for a while n I was quite frustrated, so happy to have found it again it really fills me with joy
Damn the feels to hear this back. It broke me to tears. I have so many great memories with this song 😭😭 I wanted to listen to it on Spotify but it isn't there 😭
I whistle that intro every day. I will never get this song outta my head.
I need this song in spotify 😟
It never fails... This song is my happy place
This mix would've fit PERFECTLY in Protos. Much better than the remix in Overworld fit in that album,at least in my opinion.
you said it man
such an icredible video and the song

I know it's kind of randomly asking but does anybody know of a good place to stream newly released series online ?
@Ian Aryan Meh atm i have been using Flixportal. you can find it on google :) -salvatore
@Salvatore Izaiah Thank you, I went there and it seems to work =) I appreciate it!
@Ian Aryan No problem :D
i love both this version and the overworld version equally! i like to think that the overworld version is through the perspective of the rival in this video or a bad ending where aleks loses the race due to engine problems.
Why I'm here again seen this amazing and lovely piece of art? because i saw a memory on facebook about Savant and Friends celebrating with the video
Wish this would be available on other platforms like Apple Music or Amazon music :/
“The first thing you must learn, is to learn from from your mistakes” 👑
Spacwolfe is the name of his aircraft and one his newest songs from Orakel.
i just noticed that too ._.
Rewatching this video just noticed it too! Glad I'm not the only one. :)
Nearly six years later, and still just as awesome!
This amazing compilation of sound and video is by far the best thing I've seen on utube Ever! Thank you very much.
This reminds me of F-Zero, even the Instrumentals. I remember riding like the wind as a young boy, thinking no one can stop me!
This episode of redline is so good
No way this was 7 years ago! This still seems so fresh and awesome! Congrats, Mr. Vinter!
Tad bit more now but still sounds incredible.
No way this comment was 6 years ago! This still seems so fresh and Awesome! Congrats, Mr. Vinter!
Savant is Gorrilaz, Jamairoquai, TDCC, Lemaitre and Justice combined
With the moves of Freddie Mercury of course
What a stupid comparision...sry
hes even more than that
Really nice song, deserves a higher view count for sure. After a single listen it sticks to your mind, urging you to come back for more. And I definitely will. Keep up the good work!
I just love you so much. All of your work is amazing!!
Been a fan of your work for 10+ years now. One of my fav songs to this day !
i love the song!!!! great voice!!!
i think my computer is just acting up but savant has put so much pure awesome into his songs my computer will seize up from his songs
I love this song. It is really exciting, uplifting, and fun.

why am i still fangirling over this song when i hear it everyday...
Wow the fact that you make songs of different genres but still make them sound good makes you a musical god!
The video remind me so much of the anime "Red Line". Also love the small references in this video, like the boat from Vinter beeing called "Spacewolfe", which is a song of his.
Actually the song is a reference to this i guess
K1ll1ngB4n4n4 yeah because spacewolfe was made after this video was
D: who the hell would DISLIKE this?!?!? With Oscars smexy animation and the awesomely awesome song this is amazing!
Obviously a combination between Vinter's song and Oscar's animation skills is epic win.
Love this song Aleksander vinter man you are the best
I have been following savant for a while now, over multiple accounts. He is almost always the first sub!
This song gives me a kind of inspiration from more of a psychotic place, not meaning crazy or evil, but meaning feeling inspired in a way where its just, great.
Can't get enough of this! Seen this video atleast 50 times now
Please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks this should be an entire show

I remember this coming out and Oscar hyping it up on DQ. It still gets stuck in my head sometimes all these years later.
Why do I feel like I have nostalgia for this song, even though I just discovered it this year?
+Drew Bosco so can i

Pinging you in order to make you listen to it once again :) such an amazing song
This song is one of those songs that always makes me happy when I listen to it. I'm happy I looked it up after watching one of Cry's videos. :)

the chorus of this song is amazing
