You should try your MTR factory barrel against the IBI sometime.
Holy shlamoly Ryan....that was some good shooting on your part. I watched the velocities with interest and from what I saw rounds fired with the same velocity actually impacted different places. Unlike some of your previous videos where I could predict where the bullet would impact this one was different for some reason! Now I have the hard - almost impossible - job of finding that Eley Team here in NZ!
It's nice to find an affordable ammo that shoots well. Also nice shooting.
Definitely not complaining this stuff has been a great match
So good!! Very consistent Eley...
Really nice groups! Going to have to get some to try myself.
Great shooting for 200 yards. 👍🏼
That scope's resolution must be excellent to see 22 rimfire holes at that distance.
It is surprisingly clear! Discovery sent it to me free of charge and I was very skeptical of the glass until I started using it. It has taken the place of my vortex razor.
I was surprised that Eley Team ammo shot that well. Good shooting
It has always been a great ammo in my rifle but not much left
Real nice groups that IBI is a good barrel and it does like that ely team
Great stuff mate. Pretty new shooter in North Queensland, Australia. Been loving the videos, no nonsense. I get a grin seeing you in t-shirt at 11 Celsius. Ha ha us queenslanders are pretty rugged up at that. Keep up the good work.
Thanks ha ha glad you are enjoying the videos I really appreciate you 🍻 cheers
Wow that things a tac driver amazing how you changed your thumb position on that last string and the groups seem to tighten up .
Great shooting always enjoy watching you shoot 👍🏻
I have been thinking for a while now I need to make something to rest my thumb on but it can’t interfere with the bolt. Almost thinking of boring a bit of a groove or something to make every shot repeatable but haven’t done it yet
That was impressive.
Thanks
Excellent
Thank you! Cheers!
Finally got my MTR, yesterday, interested to see how some of this ammo runs through mine. Good shooting!
For mine best bang for the buck is standard plus. Basically always works in most rifle. But baseline I always compare it to standard plus
damn, that’s pretty respectable for 200 yards! go team… haha. cheers, Ryan
Thanks
The first shot that hit significantly higher than the rest of the warmup group had a velocity of 1112 fps and also had a significant impact on the extreme spread. But since it was the only one out of 50 shots it wouldn’t have been so important on average velocity and SD.
I do notice my cold bore shot is almost always higher than the rest
Wow nice 👍👍👍👍
Thank you! Cheers!
I have had good luck with Team.
Team does seem to work very well
Welcome to reasonable long range. At our local 'bench' match we shoot a 3" square at 200 and 250yds. Your vids are very useful and informative. If I may make some suggestions.....I also shoot a CZ mtr that is 'tricked out'. Tuner, trigger, chasis, Vortex rzr gen iii scope, yadayada etc. Have you tried the 'Kroil and JB Bore brite' treatment in cleaning the barrel I notice alot of your first shots seem to be a 'cold bore' shot.. ie. it's gonna group different where the first shot goes. The most consistant ammo through my MTR has been Lapua LR and SK LRM. Most of the shooters (about 25) with tricked out cz's have found the Eley does not do as well from 150y out. I also group my ammo by rim thickness and weight, have you done that. Just a suggestion......if you could add a couple of wind flags between you and the target. I love the FPS and target cam. Since I'm in CenTex if you are ever this far south the first round is on me. Also I have an order for a Lilja 24" that should be here by May. However the factory MTR barrel is still a shooter. Generally about .5" moa with match ammo
Hi there I hope one day to visit the south but nothing is planned yet. I have done jb kroil to my centerfire rifles but I haven’t yet to any 22lr s. I definitely will though. I never thought I’d fall in love with 22lr but it has definitely happened. Cheers 🍻
0 degrees, i would still be in front of the fire
The best groups yet, can't get away from the odd flyer
Very nice! 200 yds really accentuates the fliers . Were you able to see a relationship between chrono results and the fliers ? I’m betting so😊
I didn’t it would make that much of a difference but clearly it does and like you said the velocities and the point of impacts line up.
Your 74 ES is what killed the groups. NOT the "I pulled it!"😢 with the set up you have, there should be no I Pulled its!
I literally broke the shot off the aim point. But I know what you’re talking about
Do you shoot any competitive matches?
I haven’t yet but it’s on my to do list. There are nothing in my area so I’d have to travel to get it done but haven’t had a chance yet
Where do you prefer to buy all of your ammo?
I go to my local shop for it accuracyplus.biz
what trigger is on that rifle?
It’s a timney
