I just assume I'm a character off screen slightly, over hearing the conversation while reading through a period appropriate newspaper. It's much more immersive.
The seat with the quilting is just perfect, the old newspapers and magazines, the little bottles, even the sounds of the train mingled with the background music is just perfection.
I personally prefer the idea I read on another video that she's just immortal and just likes to hang around a certain family. So this girl, the flapper, and the valley girl are all the same person.
Erin is the type of person that gets tasked with drawing a few sketches for the group project, then comes back with a 3D model and detailed drawings plus she also baked some cookies for the whole class.
Murder mystery, but you are sitting across Erin who is gossiping with you about the cute detective during your tea. When the detective comes, you both pretended that you are clearly just enjoying the refreshments and helping to offer insights. The gentleman who picked up your hat was dancing with his friend late night, Lady M was not the charitable lady she pretends to be, and if the boy was really reading his books, you'd toss your dress out the window this instant.
Same! At the end, with the blackout, I was half-expecting to hear some sort of struggle in the darkness. Hahaha. Would have been great to set up a follow-up video.

It was multiple choice, with TH-cam as an option. I really wished I could have specifically referenced Erin. Hopefully, this benefits her. She deserves it.
Just so you're aware. In the 1920s a "cocktail" meant a drink that was "spirit, water, sugar, and bitters" and anything else was merely a "mixed drink" Then after prohibition that changed and the old style of cocktail earned its name: the Old Fashioned Just a fun bit of history for you.

As a craft cocktail bartender, I sometimes like to sit around in bartender/liquor themed ASMR videos and make jokes about them since they can be a bit silly, but the drinks that you put together in this sound delightful! And I absolutely love your glassware and all the presentation! If I could sit down in a nice little 20's themed train car with someone like this I think that I'd be happy as a clam! Very very good job from the bartending side of things, if I may say!
It's called a "Transatlantic" accent. It was a kind of "manufactured" attempt at creating a mid-way point between a British and North American accent, and was quite popular among the social elite of the eastern Unites States and Canada during the early 20th century. I've always known it as the "old-timey radio announcer voice", but somehow, it sounds classier here...
Katherine Hepburn has a good example of the transatlantic accent. OH, Evan Peters did an awesome transatlantic accent for American Horror Story Hotel as James March.
Yeah when she said close he curtains and doors. And she has alcohol honestly felt like she was hiding a knife behind her back or poisoned the drink. Idk abt that pomegranate juice

Now all we need is a Frenchmen with a big bushy mustache.
Traveling Grape Agatha Christie wrote the best books ever. “Murder on the orient express” and “and then there were none” are both two of my favs!
Don't worry, Hercule Poirot will be coming on at the next station.

that's weird, just because y'all are women doesn't make it less weird. She hasn't stated anywhere that she's comfortable being sexualized. Not trying to start an argument in a TH-cam comments section though
@@sadcloud4742 some comments may imply that it comes off sexual, but to be fair not this one.
this one just said "wlw" which stands for "woman love woman", its not interpretation of it being sexual, but rather romantic
@@RosettaExtravaganza are you arguing just to argue??
@@sadcloud4742 no? its rather more of a informal approach, and just to state what i think, rather than a bitter one :D
@@sadcloud4742 No, but you are. Saying "I'm not trying to start an argument" after you specifically reply to someone's comment with a disagreement is a pathetic attempt to avoid the consequences of your choices.

@@quandaledingle2176 Please don't, you have no idea how long it took for me to recover from..that
The 5+ minutes of sounds and music after the roleplay ended was actually very delightful. It's like a gentle aftershock once the main ASMR is done. Ingenious.
The look, the set, the ambient noise, the tingles. Bravo. 👏🏼
I’ve always wondered what it would be like living in the 20’s as an affluent young lady w nothing to do but be fabulous and have fun. Thank you for fulfilling this fantasy ☺️
the way these are going, id say that they could potentially be turned into another series like BabbleBrook. these are truly amazing.
I want to see more babble brook! Like the transformation into the witch's makeup. That series is the most relaxing asmr for sure.
I would love to see this become a series
YES
Whitney Chappell Yeah! I really liked how magical those videos are and how relaxing they are!
@@chickennuggets8352 she's one of the best actresses in asmr. Her characters always seem so real. Her stories are never forced like she is making them up on thenspot like others. You can tell her prep is legit.
I had a terrible night and couldn’t sleep , I’m not joking when I say that this notification made me smile , I’m so excited for a new 1920’s video ! Thank you so much for all the work that goes into your videos , they really help

I love the background noise in these videos - it's so immersive and makes me nostalgic for a time I have never lived...thank you, Erin!
George Dinsdale nice
Scenario: After the previous 1920's part video, yoh become really good friends with her. Now you guys are on an awesome adventure together. Maybe its to find some new jewelry, or to see out some new suitors, or maybe a murder mystery? Who knows but i love the 1920s series
I’ve been playing June’s Journey since her first video. The other day I did a survey for the game. One of the questions asks how I learned about the game. It was multiple choice, with TH-cam as an option. I really wished I could have specifically referenced Erin. Hopefully, this benefits her. She deserves it.
Just so you're aware. In the 1920s a "cocktail" meant a drink that was "spirit, water, sugar, and bitters" and anything else was merely a "mixed drink"
Then after prohibition that changed and the old style of cocktail earned its name: the Old Fashioned
Just a fun bit of history for you.
Thank you for this tidbit- loved it!
That's so cool. Thank you!

I’m confused at how she can look that different with such subtle changes: hairline and eye makeup. 🤯🤯🤯
What make up can do to a woman......😒 lol that's why I tend to view beauty without the additions of makeup
I just want to say as an actress I think that this whole thing is amazing and I can tell it took a lot of work to develop that character

Who else thinks she should do a Titanic theme ASMR 🤩💕 she wouldn’t disappoint!
Jessica Kim that would be so interesting! We would never know wether Erin and us would survive or not
that could be stressful lol
She could do when they dock at Queenstown so we don’t have to stress about it 😂
Evangeline Pappas Oh I guess it could give someone stress instead 😅

Erin, you never disappoint. The set and details, the colours, the makeup, the acting, the way you speak. It all works incredibly well, paints the most wonderful of pictures, and transports us to wherever you have decided. Thank you so much for sharing your artistry with us !
Hey man, ever made a PPC before?
Not even trying to sleep just streaming this on my TV like a movie
Erin: have u ever had the pleasure to ride the orient express?
Me: MURDER-
The accent is just perfect 🤩it’s kind of a blend of American and British xx well done 😘😘
Vivec the Poet Thanks for telling me that xx I didn’t even know it had a name 😂
@@vivecthepoet36 I vote we readopt the transatlantic accent.
Katherine Hepburn has a good example of the transatlantic accent.

am i the only one sooo confused as to how erin managed to make the screen AND props move slightly as if they were on a train?????!!!!!!!!
tobii the camera is set to a wider shot, then in editing she chooses a sway pattern that sort of bounces between the outer boundaries of the shot. It definitely takes time, as that alone requires its own process, before any other editing
Jon Stevenson oh wow, that's so cool! i don't know much too much about videography so just that seems really time consuming; i can't begin to imagine how she made the luggage and lamp move
That "good girl" part be making me blush everytime i rewatch this 😭
