That was awesome. As a 62 y/o Canadian, I have to say you two found one of the most beautiful parts of the Country. Killarney and the North Channel is a part of heaven on earth. So glad that found it and experienced it. I will be sailing my sailboat from Port Dover to Killarney and the North Channel next summer for a month or so. This is truly getting away from all the negative energy of the City and politics, etc. You both are a breath of fresh air in a very negative state of affairs in what was once a great country. If you want to see the North channel by sailboat this summer let me know and maybe I can show you some of the greatest freshwater cruising in the world. :)
Wow this is very beautiful 🙂 Great way to relax mind and very memorable hike I guess. Bear moment is bit scary considering there's no one else near your camp area other than you guys. But if we are going into the nature, we have to expect these sort of risks. Like you guys said, all this need to preserve for future generations as well. Canada seams like a wonderful place indeed. As always, thanks for sharing. TC and stay safe.
Hi Anna & Anastasia, long time no comment. Love the video ... very entertaining. Killarney reminds me of my area ... very similar but without mountains in the background. I live on the largest river in the Pacific North West, the Columbia River, in the Selkirk Mountain Range. I'm at 500 meters elevation like Killarney Park but the highest peak around me is Mt Sir Sanford at 3,519 meters so that's what I mean by missing the mountains in the background ... haha. We have over 20,000 named accessible lakes here in B.C. with thousands more unnamed that you must hike, and I mean hike, in to access. Loads of wildlife from Mountain Lions to Grizzly Bears to Deer and Moose and everything else larger and smaller. Anna, if you hike in black or brown bear areas then tie a small tin can to your waist with a few round rocks in it. The bears will hear you from kilometers away and you won't be bothered. Once again ... loved the video and will check back in later. Hugs.
Awesome video girls !! Great footage of a beautiful park in our beautiful country!! Btw, what is the number of that campsite you stayed at on the lake on your first night?
Hey Jay, the first night was at H52, second night was H53. We liked the second campsite better because the body of water was larger and cleaner. Hope it helps!
@@MakeThatChange I’m no expert by any means. However, it would not surprise me to find out Momma was out looking for that one. You had a body of water between you thou. An established camp site. Which I am sure the local wildlife avoid or are at least aware of. Watch those crumbs. Might lead the bears back to Grandmas house. Lol.
Black bears are pretty harmless. They are more scared of you than you of them. They will do everything to avoid human contact. Just use common sense when you encounter them and everyone will go away safe. You should see this Park in its fall colours. Even more beautiful then. Did you try the Crack Trail? It's the most famous trail in this part of Ontario that gives you breathtaking scenery at its end. You had to drive by it on the way in and out not far from the park entrance.
Amazing indeed😊 Anna was anxious about where the bear was heading and whether it would visit us later. But it all went well and it was a young bear. It could hear and smell us for sure, as we had a bonfire started.
Thank you you ANNA and ANASTASIA for this amazing view .. it looks like Norway, I love nature and I wish that people preserve it more and more.. have a fun and enjoy your time .. HAKIM

@@MakeThatChange thanks so much. I’m doing backcountry this year for the first of many times… hopefully.😎
Amazing place! Don't you carry a bear spray?
We didn’t carry it for this trip. We rented it previously, but are planning to buy one for the next camping season.
Great video as per usual
Umm. You did know that was a cub right?
Which means Momma is somewhere close by.
Thank you Tom! It was a young bear, but I don't think it was a cub.

Thank you for the insight and for the recommendation of the trail! We will certainly check it out before winter comes 🙏

It's amazing girls. I've never seen a bear so close.
Weren't afraid to be attacked? Lol

@@MakeThatChange Все хорошо, через 2 года планирую поступить в канадский колледж на постград
Be careful with bear, wolf, coyote !
Some of our friends went camping in Killarney that same weekend too, but different part of the park, and they heard cayotes at night!😨
beautiful girls beautiful place

How to avoid black bears? Do NOT eat food in the tent!
