Once Tom finally got Lewis focused they made quite a bit of progress... but if Tom hadn't have gotten him on track we could have been in that first room for hours!
I just had an idea. Tom & Simon on one computer, Lewis on the other. They would figure stuff out, and both be yelling at Lew Lew not to let everyone down.
I'm only a year late on this but... when I played the maze part with my friend, I literally ignored him and solved it myself. It was a generic lever and gate puzzle and the librarians help is completely unnecessary.
Yes, Lewlew, be a good fellow and welcome back Tom to his own channel. Poor Lewlew, sometimes he doesn't know where he is. Some days he's welcoming people back to their own channel, other days he finds himself alone on a pier listening to the bubbles fade away.
*_It's time to get Brindlegory!!_* _(With this intro immediately going all over the place, you know that the next 20 minutes are gonna be some solid scatterbrained GOLD)_
Also, 1:12 & 3:56 - bless you for the beautiful *_Frank Herbert's Dune_* edits, Josh. They make me laugh every damn time, and now I'm thinking of them every time Lewis (mis)directs Tom up/down a flight of stairs.
I like how they found the Eye-runes bit... and then Lewis just goes mental reading books, maps, talking about chess moves, pretty much EVERYTHING except for the runes.
I was gonna say that Simon would probably hate that kind of game but I'm pretty sure Tom would too. He played like 20 minutes of Outlast & RE7 before quitting forever. but i agree, it would be really fun to watch and i hope they do it
anyone else here remember SovietWomble‘s video about this game? good times anyway, very enjoyable video, Tom and Lewis are always a great recording team
Fuck. Yes. Been looking for somebody (Who I watch) to do a whole playthrough of this game for so long. The fact it's Tom and Brindleberry makes it about 5 billion times better.
Ooh, I do love the Tom and Lewis puzzle-solving combo, hehe, always a blast! I agree with Lewis though, you all should totally do a real-life escape room, that would be awesome!
Bam, nice work Tom, I liked the duo with Lewis but please keep dragging Simon into your videos as much as possible, you and Simon are my favorite yog duo
Now I know, Tom doesn't read left to right. He isn't bound by any direction of reading as seen by his expert tastes of describing which eye comes first in the very first puzzle haha.
I wondered if anyone was going to comment that. It drove me crazy. Lewis even kinda asks him what order they're in and he's like theyre on pillars. Love these goofs.
It's interesting in seeing both perspectives that is seems so easy... But I'm guessing only being able to talk about what you're seeing makes it much more difficult, haha
so the red eye and the green eye... the red eye, let me just tell... you...what the red eye and the green eye are... the red eye, well the red eye and the green eye- Lewis is so eloquent.
Kinda disappointed they didn't use the walkie talkies. It adds to the feel of the game and also they cut out a bit in certain puzzles making communication difficult and really suits the environment
"You're not allowed to write on books with blood!" I'm getting flashbacks to that time he tore a page out of the necronomicon.
+Kurota Tomo
And in a recent Jingle Jam stream he wrote on Simon's Fighting Fantasy book!
@@phaolo6 That's sickening. He's definitely a serial killer, that sick fuck.
@@IcespherePlaysGames could it be? The rumoured Bristol pusher
well, it wasn't Lewis that did that, that was John... because everyone was John.
0:05 Did Lewis just welcome Tom back to his own channel?
Lewis owns Tom's channel and is keeping Tom as his slave xd
Is it possible that they decide after the recording which channel the video is being uploaded to?
Lewis da “boss” def not Turps
Tom fucking afro heh heh
@@TheRealDerohneNick I think it's more likely that Lewis is just an awkward librarian
"I like books!" I appreciate your enthusiasm, lewlew
Once Tom finally got Lewis focused they made quite a bit of progress... but if Tom hadn't have gotten him on track we could have been in that first room for hours!
I just had an idea.
Tom & Simon on one computer, Lewis on the other. They would figure stuff out, and both be yelling at Lew Lew not to let everyone down.
SHUT UP! SHUT UP!
YES WE NEED THIS
I concur
Lewis and Simon cannot directly communicate or hear each other all instructions need to go through Tom
@@vonSarno This. This is what we need!!!
"All Quiet On The Western Front"
aka
Frank Herbert's "Dune"
Bless Tom for being able to decipher Lewis' HORRIBLE directions.
I'm only a year late on this but... when I played the maze part with my friend, I literally ignored him and solved it myself. It was a generic lever and gate puzzle and the librarians help is completely unnecessary.

12:21 I saw something naughty as Lewis's arm...
SAME!
i was like: why is there a dick sticking out of lewis' drink?
Was just going to say the same thing. Her riddle bro arm... Every time... Am I gay mum?
It’s her arm, but yeah, it is also a massive dick...
Glad I'm not the only one...
*watch video to laugh at Tom and Lewis struggle with puzzles*
*Get triggered when Tom and Lewis struggle with puzzles*

There's more gold in this video than in a ton of gold ore
@@carlthesociopathicllama8736 Hahaha. Thank you for that excellent Yogsfact callback - although this one might be true! :P

Heppy Crimbas Pierce!
Tom: "Red and blue make purple."
Lewis: "You're a genius!"
god I love those little outros...
"You can't draw on a book with blood!" says the man who drew on Simon's book with pen less than a week ago
Well blood is different from ink
@@koenig1107 True but the outcome is the same ;)
And tore a page out of the Necronomicon
The "I, Robot" picture when Tom said "Terminator 2" caught me off-guard. Funny stuff.
Lol lewis welcomes back tom to his channel. LUL
It's great to see Lewis so enthusiastic about the puzzle solving in this.
Play alien isolation with simon!
Yes pls
I was gonna say that Simon would probably hate that kind of game but I'm pretty sure Tom would too. He played like 20 minutes of Outlast & RE7 before quitting forever. but i agree, it would be really fun to watch and i hope they do it
YES!
@@EasyGuitarTuts yeah but they're into spookier games now. I'm hoping if enough people say they want it they'll do it
They will both have heart attacks lol
Lewis saying “Christmas” is like Benedict Cumberbatch saying “penguin.”
When you guys play the sequel, you should use the Walkie talkie system, it makes things more challenging and immersive
Tom and Simon already played the sequel.
@SteelRodent When you use the walkie talkie you cant speak at the same time, or you both hear nothing.
i love how you can always hear Smith shouting through the wall
my favourite thing about this video was hearing smith yell for trott at 16:33
Lewis, in America, the whole high school junior class reads all quiet in the western front(at least for me).
Soviet Womble memories
Same my dude
yeah I wonder how Tom and Lewis are gonna handle the chess puzzle... Womble and Cyanide... uh... didn't do so good the first time around
Love the name
anyone else here remember SovietWomble‘s video about this game? good times
anyway, very enjoyable video, Tom and Lewis are always a great recording team
Tom, Simon, and Lewis would be the ultimate Riddle Bros
That Dune flyby was on point. I almost spit my fried rice out of my mouth. Excellent work.
What fried rice is it
Love the series. Would love to see more of the same type of thing - Tom and Lewis seem to have a good rapport.
I like it when Tom has a banter buddy.
Excellent Tom game, a good mix of mostly cozy with a sprinkling of spooky
I agree! The music was so relaxing. It made the crawly boy much more startling!
Fuck. Yes. Been looking for somebody (Who I watch) to do a whole playthrough of this game for so long. The fact it's Tom and Brindleberry makes it about 5 billion times better.

All Quiet on the Western Front is a must read. It will leave you speechless!
13:36 Candle + Labrador = Candelabra!
I was literally playing skyrim talking to the librarian as they talked about him
Tom, if you want a good detective/puzzle/mystery game, you guys should try out "Return of the Obra Dinn" preferably with lewis or simon.
Probably too long/intricate for videos really.
Good game though.
Lewis probably finished it already since he said he loved it in a Tip.
Bam, nice work Tom, I liked the duo with Lewis but please keep dragging Simon into your videos as much as possible, you and Simon are my favorite yog duo
I love no matter what channel he's on. Lewis just absolutely fucking loves talking about himself >..
I absolutely love this game! I was like Lewis at 11:18 when I played it.
"Don't do that to books" says Lewis who wrote in Simon's personal Fighting Fantasy book like a week ago.
The yogs are having a party alright, you can hear it in the background from time to time!
I love Josh's editing with the Tom head
Tom: It's like the terminator to terminator two.
Me: *narrows eyes and looks at nonexistent audience* That was IRobot...
the 1930 movie of "all quiet on the western front" is very good.
All Quiet on the Western Front is a fantastic book, even if it is depressing, one of my absolute favorites. Good choice Lewis!
The atmosphere of this game is unnerving it almost feels a bit like a horror game.
Me and a buddy played this a while back and I died so many times in that freezing chess room.
"Go up the stairs -or down!-"
after playing through this game, tom in fact will freeze to death many many times knowing lewis.
My bro quit in the middle of this when we were playing. Couldn't handle the fear.
Crawling boy should become a permanent feature
The pain of having played through both sides twice and knowing exactly what to do, and watching them spend half the video on Between the Eyes -_-
I can't wait to see more of these videos!!!! They're so much fun!!!!
Good thing there was the crawling boy in the end.. I almost forgot to like and comment.. Good job, crawling boy!
Crawling boy was legit spooky
"Frank Herbert's Dune" - Simon 2018
i sign all my books in blood
What do I need in my life?
Trench Warfare!
More Lewis and Tom doing puzzles!!!!!!!!!!
"You're not allowed to WRITE in books!" But ripping pages out is fine, eh Lewis?
That was the Necronomicon. You're actually encouraged to tear out those pages and write in it.
@@PHANTOMCOWGIRL Which would have been fine... had it been Lewis's book!
Shiiiiiit, now I want Tom to start a Skyrim playthrough. 200+ parts at least please.
i wonder how many videos tom has backed up because Until Dawn.
Crawling boy not the hero we ever wanted but a hero we need
Nice addition to the riddle bros Lewis
I love this duo

Crawling boi is my new favourite yog
My god; I've been reading All Quiet over Christmas, SPOOKY COINCIDENCE??
Oooooh I loved this game. So glad you two are playing it. But my God, Tom's communication skills could do with some work.
Unlike the crawly guy i didn't forget to press like on the video i just watched.
Thanks crawling boy, almost forgot
God dam, Frank Herbert's Dune
15:17 nooooooooooooooooope bye

I'm doing what Tom told me
Played this game yest and came to watch this playthrough, the book Lew mentions at 1:11 was made into a movie! Nicee...
I FUCKING LOVE watching you guys play this game.
I miss Simon though...
Lewis is great too though...
Is there a way for all three of you to play?
I didn't see this. It was uploaded on my b-day, sorry haha. This is amazing, moreee :)
Thanks for this Tom I love you
I'm following directions!
Was that book at the very start the instructions to the chess board?
Dune
very spicy content, love the vids.
Really great episode
Oh great, Lewis is drunk again.

You guys should definitely have used the walkie talkie.
You might want to consider playing "The room" series of games
I'm very excited about this. :o
I'm currently reading, The Greatest Show On Earth by Prof, Richard Dawkins. Very interesting reading.
