My best friend recently died by suicide - and Drifblim was one of his all-time favorite Pokémon. It now warms my heart anytime someone remembers this friendly, oddball ghost. I have a lot of affection for it, so thanks for putting this oft forgotten good boy to use in battle and bringing back fond memories.
I did a fun set once for doubles. Flare boost weakness policy Drifblim with the second mon being a timid 0 attack IV Weavile that used flame orb fling on it
Mega Drifblim. Ability becomes Flare Boost (it's not like you'd want unburden or Aftermath anyway even if you are forced to rely on your opponent to burn you in single battles). Looks like a blimp. Loses 40 attack, gains +30 Defense, +20 Special Defense, +50 speed, and +40 Special attack. Final stats: 150 HP 40 Attack 74 Defense 130 Special Attack 74 Special Defense 130 Speed 598 Base Stat total
I like Flare Boost Drifblim! Ive used it before w a Stockpile/ Spit Up combo! That BP on a +3 Spit Up, with the boost from Flare Boost, is insane! That last match up w Drifblim was insane! Way to win!
Please make a video of battle using status activation ability team using abilities like guts,toxic boost,poison heal,flare boost,marvel scale,quick feet etc.
Drifblim has such a sick design too, I wish it was more of a special attacker though. I would always use drifblim offensive-wise because it was my favorite lol

Flare boost was a cool unique ability for Drifblim because it fits the hot air balloon aesthetic. But I’m surprised they haven’t given the ability to more pokemon down the line

Drifblim is not “on fire” with the burn, per se. It’s a blimp and the fire fuels it.
