If you've never heard Andy Taylors album "Thunder" don't cheat your ears any longer. Start to finish an absolutely INCREDIBLE rock album. Not a bad song anywhere. It's phenomenal
Simon Le Bon was a seminal figure of my youth. The face for music videos.....maybe one of the most iconic figures when music incorporated the music video medium. A very important group for the surgance of MTV.

After 40 years as a Duranie, I've heard so many boring, uninteresting interviews with the band. This was exceptional! One of the absolute best.
The company I work for sold our building during covid - so now that we are back to the office I have to drive 1 hour each way to a new building; listening to your podcast is the only thing that makes it bearable. Seriously, not to use the term lightly but you are my heroes!

Amazing. Simon Le Bon needs to do a TED talk - wow. I have a new depth of respect for Duran Duran now. Plus, you guys are setting the standard for interviews in this decade. You make the show about the interviewee, and demonstrate a true interest and curiosity, and it simply brings out the best in people. You better watch out or this will overshadow your careers, or maybe you will be each be known as "Original Member of the legendary Smartless Podcast crew, and also many other achievements." Now don't let that go to your heads, or I'll have to slap you. ❤

Correct (Jason B)...SL channels and targets the audience that gives him a "boost." It's his main motive even as an old (dirty) man. And that audience.. young males. Also he enjoys mentioning Madonna a lot throughout his years as a closeted man who likes young, underaged males. And why am I the only mentioning this on SM? This is redic.
Simon's speaking voice is horribly nerdy. This is the first Smartless that I can't tolerate.
