Great ingo Bro! I am looking into a unique ice cream franchise that is just about to boom. Friend of mine started with two locations that are booming and looking to open more. Very unique product that sells itself. Low cost of about $75K to be totally open including franchise fee.
My challenges are risk tolerance, overwhelming with choices, wanting huge profitability, expanding my business now versus trying something new at 60 years old 😊
This was excellent Tariq!!! Thank you so much. Can you do a video on how to know if FA fees, royalties & franchise exit terms are the norm across the board or if they're exorbitantly higher than most?
Ah, okay. Have you grabbed our free resources on my website yet? Www.tariqjohnson.com has my free ebook- Zero to Profitable Franchise in 12 months or less.
Leslie, congrats on joining our program! Welcome to the family. We have some good funding resources in there, plus the team will help you 1 on 1 with any funding advice, referrals. I’ll certainly be diving in and making some content on funding too!
Hi Tariq, thank you for your awesome videos! I’m currently validating with a franchise and they have a top performing existing franchisee operating right next to my proposed territory. I asked about the franchisee to franchisee relationship and they said it can be very beneficial for my marketing to have a top performer in my market already. This is for a pest control franchise. Would you see this as a good sign or a bad sign for me as a first time franchisee?
If someone is really successful in a neighboring territory it sounds like there could be great opportunity. Without the full picture and context, I could be completely wrong. Would you prefer there was a failing franchisee in a neighboring territory?
There is not a broker fee. Franchisors pay franchise brokers a commission. We have a system clients buy. Often times there is no commission for us when they find it on their own.
Let me know what other topics you want me to do live trainings on!
Very informative, I would like a class on how to fund a franchise. Also the link to the profitable franchise formula.

Boom!
Hard trying to narrow it down but I don't want to get frustrated because I really want to do this now.
You don’t have to struggle on your own!
Another Amazing video/teaching Tariq. Thanks 🙏

Does the buyer or the seller pay your broker fee? And how much is that fee typically?
