I ordered this exact colour New Moon pen today that you reviewed here - with an EF bent nib. I already have a splendid blue New Moon that I bought earlier in December last year. I adore the bent nib and the outstanding feel and writing experience I get from these very inexpensive pens. Undeniably resembling my pair of Sailor Pro Gear pens with those sublime 21k nibs. But the New Moon is a wonderful pen in its own right - with cool colour variations and offering a stellar bent nib. I love the wet, thicker horizontal line width that is akin to a true, wet medium in my eyes. The New Moon is currently my favourite Chinese pen (and I have 20, all bought over the course of last year). I reckon I ought to find and buy a few more of these bent nibs to keep handy for transforming other pens for the better like it did this New Moon.
Soooo glad to see you back! I really like these Delike pens- the old metal ones as well as these new resin ones. Am.looking forward to a “news” video! Thanks.
Welcome back. I've had to do my own research for new Chinese pens lately. This model is similar to the original New Moon pen. Later models had metal sections, which I also do not prefer. Price has dropped to close to $16, need to search for bent nibs version. Did you snag a Moonman M8? My current fav.
Welcome back, Aaron. I've missed your pen news! I have a Delike New Moon 3 last February. This looks like a real improvement on that pen which would not post, making it too small to write with, and it had a very slippery metal section and a tiny nib. I hesitate about this one being concerned it would have the same issues. It looks like a much bigger pen and that resin is lovely.
good to see you back, i have this pen in the same colour and nib option and i find it writes closer to a fine ,very happy with it! but mine takes 4.25 turns to uncap
Great review, thanks! I have 2 of these on the way. I totally agree that a #6 nib would be optimal for this pen. Would be great if Delike #6 nib assemblies could be compatible. Sadly, even if so, I believe the bent EF only comes in #5.
$16 Free shipping on banggood right now. Because maybe this is a $15/20 pen. I like the Delike consistent bent nib and above all the "Dark Rose" finish acrylic. The same "Dark Rose" of the Moonman M100 that I have found nowhere else. Ideal for Noodler's Black Swan in Australian Roses. But too much turns that prevent me from using it as a pocket pen. Glad you're back.
Watching @chrisrap52's videos I think this is a Delike New Moon (version) II. Maybe version three will have less turns. I admit I bought this pen for the Dark Rose acrylic, for which I have a strong weakness. But the performance of the pen, especially at these prices, is beyond my expectations. However in this world one thing makes up for another, like the Moonman M8: expectations too much hight.
Moonman M8 "Silver Leaf" is aesthetically done in a hurry. Maybe "Gold leaf" also. "Mother of Pearl" seems more close to my inicial expectations. But because we can't have all I received the Silver, also in a hurry. It performs well with no dry issues so far. Like the M6 & M300 (this one now a $43 pen) I like the thickness. This morning I saw a new Moonman M800, a sort of Leonardo Officina Italiana, PenBBS acrylics (amber & galaxy) and a Fine Bock nib. A 53€ strange cocktail. This world never ceases to amaze us.
Great video. I have this pen with the bent nib. Writes well and I prefer to post. Love Moonman M6's and the M8's as more my size of pen. Have you seen the latest Moonman M800? Looks alot like a Leonardo to me
I saw the m800, but am going to hold off pulling the trigger right now. I will probably get the penbbs 500 next. Still waiting on my moonman m8 for over a month now.
@@aaronspenvideos4420 I think you will enjoy the M8. I managed to get the gold M8 and I really like how it looks, feels in the hand and writes. Glad to see you back making videos, really enjoy them.

I have, but still waiting since they sent me the wrong item. I am going to watch your review tonight on the m8. I ordered the gold spotted version.

Thank you, and I do really enjoy this pen especially from a looks perspective.
Seems like a nice pen but I got one where the threads of the body where stripped and the replacement is still coming 6 months after.
That is a nice finish - very unique. I don't own a Moonman pen (yet) but this one is very eye catching.
gadgetstop321 get one you won’t regret it. EF bent nib is beautifully made.

Wierd yours takes that many turns.
Nice to see you back again!

I really like the look of this pen but would probably swap out the nib. Thanks for the review.

It is a lot of turns to uncap. Strangely I don't notice it as much when I use it.

I ordered the m8 already, but was shipped the wrong item so am still waiting. I will keep my expectations in check since the m6 underwhelmed me a bit.
Just what I was thinking.

thanks to Chrisrap52 on his Penbbs review; I chanced on Delike on eBay... :)
I thought the selling point of Monteverde inks was that they are lubricated?
This is my first one and it is not a bad ink, but not as lubricating as some of my others. I will definitely try out other colors though
It could be the pen and ink combo as well.
Please, what is the rock made of? Thanks!
Honestly, I cant remeber. I found it in a gift shop in Colorado a while back.
