Total Hip Replacement (THR), also called total hip arthroplasty, involves removing the damaged bone and cartilage and replacing them with artificial components.
全髖關節置換術簡稱THR；它涉及去除受損的骨骼和軟骨並用人造部件替換。
This video features how the THR procedures are being done. The surgical procedure usually takes from 1 to 2 hours. Your orthopaedic surgeon will remove the damaged cartilage and bone and then position new metal, plastic, or ceramic implants to restore the alignment and function of your hip. This involves using a test kit for measurement before implanting the permanent implant into the patient's body.
