Oh my God, Phill, I understand you so much! I also drew my dreams as a child, because my family did not have money for real things. Only people who drew their keyboards and synthesizers as children can truly appreciate modern musical instruments and the Internet. Many modern teenagers around me now do not know what it is like to need and want something for decades. They get everything instantly and have no real motivation. They now think that everything can be bought, but for money you can buy wedding rings or a synthesizer - but you can not buy either Love or Music.
I always thought, before I started studying music, that music theory was very complicated and like a big solid mountain rock. But when I started studying it, it turned out that it was very simple and like a huge mountain of very small stones, which you just need to consistently, persistently and patiently sort through one by one. Basically, in most cases, you don't even need to think, just repeat regularly. I wish I knew this 20 years ago.
I got you covered! I will be teaching all the mental tricks I used to get it under control. It was so intimidating and annoying at first! 😅 But then.... I used paper and pen and hyper focused on ALL SCALES like eating dinner.... I ate the keys for lunch and I put myself in risky situations, playing with big dogs LIVE. Scary but it made me swim!
@@phillc u mean like maths remembering all the chords and numbers? Can u not learn it just by playing alot of piano and go by feel and remembering patterns?
@@lolsucks3599 Absolutely. Depending on the individual. I am a numbers person so the mathematical permutations helped BUT so did the VISUAL patterns AND the constant playing on all keys (grudgingly). There are some easy patterns to help all 12 keys. It kind of makes things fool-proof for me.

Happy New Year Bro Igor!

Ahahaha I use an AKAI mpk miniPlay for the same thing lol. A portable battery powered mini keyboard is very handy for learning chords and scales
I struggle with the same thing finding the right keys on the keyboard always pressing a wrong one before I find the right one.
