You know, I didn't realize until this trailer how much this feels like The Lego Movie. Beat for beat. Even with the creator of this world being the antagonist. Not a bad thing, just an observation
Looking forward to Free Guy. My first “post”-pandemic movie in the theater was Nobody, which I loved. But I don’t think I’ll get back in a movie theater until Black Widow.
They finally announced a reopening plan for our province so if theaters are open, and I should have my second shot by then, I will go to the theaters for this easily.
this is one of those fun for first watch but gonna forget it exists a week after watching it. don't need to be seen in theaters, people aren't gonna be talking about it
I hope it has some originality to it. It seems to be borrowing from a lot of other movies. (Lego Movie, Wreck it Ralph, Ready Player one, Jumanji, etc) Definitely going to see it though
That's not on Ryan Reynolds though. His movies just got put into the same release window. It's unfortunate because he was having a really good run and this could make some people think he's overexposed and be less likely to see his movies which would be a massive shame. Makes me glad they didn't push a third Deadpool movie through with the rest of them. At least he has that in his pocket.

Overexposed. I've seen so many trailers for this movie that have given away so much of the movie, I honestly feel like I already saw this movie like a year ago. The cliche and standard plot isn't helping either. I like ryan reynolds a lot but honestly this movie looks like it's going to suffer from 'wasted concept' disease like so many other films.
So Truman Show meets Wreck-It Ralph, meets Jumanji.
