    I don't get why the servicing for these is so highly priced at the dealership. Cheap bike, cheap parts surely. So why £100 + when a local shop can do you a standard oil and filter for £40 ish. And then dealerships ask for such a short interval between services to maintain the warranty?..

    • @BikeMatters
      @BikeMatters  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Robert! So it seems we're about the same measurements - and i found the Terrain a nice and comfortable bike to ride in terms of size. I haven't ridden the Varadero, but that's near enough world renowned as a great option for a 'bigger' rider. Difficult to say which is better, but can vouch for the Terrain being a great commuter option!

    Surely a 125cc bike for adventure riding is enough? If it has enough power to go through rough terrain and you dont max the engine all the time, then why not? Cheap maintenance and parts cost? Easy to repair, what else do you want?

  • @rakrois

    Hi @BikeMatters!. I have 1 year with that model bike but here in Mexico it is 200cc and it’s called "Adventure V200". It looks beautiful with that colors. People: it is a great bike as a 200cc but I ignore how could it works as 125cc. Regards!.

    Was thinking to get one and now i am almost convinced. I love 125s to the point that i don’t want to do the licence test to move to bigger bikes. Had 2 Lexmoto ones and quality was not that good. Worried that Sinnis is also pretty bad. Even if it’s a fraction of the cost of a branded bike, i worry that with medium use, bits will start falling. I guess you have to bite the lemon and hope for the best

    i was seriousley concidering one of these because of the warrenty. But Sinnis recomend a service every 1200 miles at approx 100 quid a time or your 60 Months Unlimited Mileage Warranty becomes invalid . so thats a service every month more or less ,1200 a year on servicing for a 125 is way out of order , Sorry Sinis but ill be takeing my custom elsewhere,,,

    Air cooled? No thanks. All those crash bars add an enormous amount of weight. The mpg and top speed are all affected by the massive chunks of steel . All of that would have to be removed as you say. Struggles from 45 mph onwards??? Plenty of 125s that don’t . Even cheaper to buy second hand cbf125s!
