The company was given its present name Radiotehnika RRR (Rīgas radiorūpnīca - Riga Radio Factory) in 1941 joining two private companies: a joint stock company “Foto-radio centrāle A. Leibovic” established on 28 December 1927 and a radio production company "A. Apsītis un F. Žukovskis” established in 1934. In The Soviet Union, officially the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR). Some of Radiotehnika RRR speakers: S-30, S-50B, S-90, S-90F, S90B, S-90D, Baltic 50, Giant FS-100, Gold FS-500.1, Rigonda S FS 5.3, SM-300, X-LINE FS 10.1, Rigonda S MM 1.3 or radiotehnika s-400.

I have the S90-BE speakers X2 and they are so God damn good. Mated to a Marantz 50w per chanel amp and also a subwoofer on the side. These speakers are so clear and crisp, playing music I hear instruments that I've never heard in songs that I've listened to for years. Simply amazing. Purchased 2nd hand and stripped them down for a thorough dusting and inspection. Everyone laughs at the old girls until they hear Thier song choice through them.

Dear Techscrew! Not soviet.. but made in Riga, Latvia by RRR (Radiotehnika Rigonda)
I had s-30 and s-90 , well built, die-cast basket-rubber surround-big magnet at midbass, good bass tubes, atomic crossovers etc.
Pleasant bass, relative good sound everywhere you placed.
Not Russian but it was Latvian SSR back then.

Me too have 2 pair of s30b and I have 1pair S50B in good condition the best for me :) and S50B i play with magnat mr780 i don't need more :)
I have one pair , been a hifi geek for over 25 year and trust me wheni tell u ...IN GOOD SHAPE , WITH A DECENT AMPLIFIER , U CANNOT FIND BOOKSHELF SPEAKERS BETTER UNDER 500 EUROS.
for $500 in second hand market you can definitely find a better sounding bookshelf speakers.

wow those speakers can handle that much power up to 300watts amazing seems its made very well such a complex cross over network in there i saw a transistor on that board wow i wonder whats that used for it always cool to see stereo gear from other countries .
they can't hold 300w, in specs. writen - RMS 10w/30w max.
Tuve el hermano menor, un tocadiscos radiotecnica de finales de los 80 en Cuba, muchísima calidad, de lo mejor en audio en la época soviética. El Tweeter es el mismo estoy seguro y el woofer parece que también. Este parece una versión más antigua del mío.

@@Techscrews Yes, Latvia was Part of Soviet Union, those days .... and we had this system onboard a Russian build bulk carrier in 1996, the ship.was build in the Soviet era, and I'm sure their target market is SU ... who else.... this is where first Heard this speakers, it's simply magical .....
cause USSR was broken in 1991,there were a lot of magical things. Red Empire produced from condoms till space ships and nuclear submarines.

Против нормальных колонок ещё то дерьмецо. Салтыковские были чуть лучше, но из-за маленького диаметра фазика шипели при номинальной мощи.

Доброго времени суток, одна сплошная экономия, можно сказать даже брак . Магниты криво, все элементы, не пойми как Рига Латвия качество так себе
Это поздние 30ки, хоть и B ревизии, которые поидее считались топовой версией среди всей с30, но в поздних там все было ужасно, все вкривь и вкось. Тут хотя бы еще фильтр полноценный, а не костыль в виде одного резистора с конденсатором.
