As someone who used to listen and sing to sped up songs religiously, I've got some tips for singing fast songs! 1) listen to the song a bunch (duh). Internalizing the rhythm and when/where lyrics are sung in relation to the instrument in the track helps w timing, especially with funky time signatures like this one. 2) read the lyrics out loud. Don't have to sing them, just read them so ur mouth gets used to what's being said while ur brain actually recognizes the lyrics as words and not random sounds. 3) 1+2 = read the lyrics in time to the song playing. Now you got the rythm down, *and* you recognizes which words are said where aswell as *how* they're said. The difference between singing and speaking is that the former can make words bend their syllables to fit a rhythm instead of worrying just about pronunciation. 4) practice! Having internalized the rhythm and words, slow the rhythm and sing the song at a slower pace. You can do this by clapping the slowed rhythm w your hands (in time to an online metronome if needed), use a sped down version like in this video, or even slow the playback speed. As you nail getting used to singing the song slowly and in time, you can gradually speed up. 5) test yourself! Sing without the song, then sing with the actual song in it's original version once you feel confident. If the fast pace is still making you trip words over your tongue, try blowing raspberries (known to release tongue tension, theres vids on singers using this as a vocal technique)! Its the thing you do when you blow on someone's belly, and imagining that makes it easier for me to do personally. Hope this helps!
I have lyrics! "A couple years ago, I was told that I would be a miracle Something theoretical, I guess It's kinda like a psychedelic lie, and yet it tries to be A line between the villains and the rest A cloudy day, run away on latent aripiprazole Missing what I reckon is a soul So flip a coin, let's rejoin our family in the mirror world Seeing things that cannot be retold A year ago I was told that I would be a miracle Something theoretical, I guess It's kinda like a psychedelic lie, and yet it tries to be A line between the villains and the rest Nostalgia from a wall of barricaded faded memories Impartial to the carnal scenery Apparently, guarantees are only found peripherally Drinking to a total mystery Well, no matter what I say, it's confusing either way Well, no matter what I say, it's confusing either- Stars always watching from afar, turning who you are In the end, it left me delicately scarred beyond pathological facade Don't you find it odd? Secretarial speaking Go on, praise me like a god Don't you find it odd? Go on, praise me like a god A couple unaware, laughter in the air after galling Falling head-first down a flight of stairs It's kinda like a pre-angelic bygone wannabe Who's heading towards God-knows-where Bye-bye-bye goes the time, turning on a dime Gone without a reason or a rhyme So flip a coin, let's rejoin our family in the mirror world Where everybody's crooked by design A year ago, I was told that I would be a miracle Something theoretical, I guess It's kinda like a psychedelic lie, and yet it tries to be A line between the villains and the rest The Tower's gonna fall, and you'll silently rebuild it all Knowing someone else would be appalled You're crying as you call out Halt and move on without someone that you think a lot about Well, no matter what I say, it's confusing either way Well, no matter what I say, it's confusing either- Sunday was jarringly redone; a faulty illusion The ending left misunderstood amnesia for a diorama love Who will I become?
