Well here we are again with the Fixy Van.
We have featured them once before in the channel but the work they do is so good I wanted to visit them again.
As we buy more and more tech all of it with inbuilt redundancy it’s a one way trip to land fill.
These guys remove all data and get it back out to people that can use it or if that can’t be done they recycle it

Thank you for this video I went to these guys in Benedicts church today and I got my VR Headset an oculus quest 2 back in action. It was one of those tasks where you need someone else to do a simple job of turning a device on that for some reason it it would not turn on for me no matter times I tried. Great to have this service here.

This is such a great idea. We have a drop off place for any redundant electronics but I doubt stuff is refurbished, rather the metals etc., are recycled. Well, its better than land fill.

Thing is there is often a long and useful life left in a lot of the tech handed in and getting that into the hands of folk that can use it has to be the way forwards
