Not sure if someone told you this before but: You are not a bad player sir! The technical chops are one thing but your timing is outstanding. Great Review and awesome playing, thank you! Best, Andy
I just love the sound of the Una Corda in general, has a bell like chime without being overbearing. Obviously not right for every situation but yeah its just a special sound that my brain definitely loves.
Actually, with a nice selection of felt pianos, your playing blew my mind. Thanks for the video! (I'm not even a piano guy, lol). Also, just subscribed to enjoy your playing further. 👍🏻
There are lot of great pianists on TH-cam but it has been a while since someone's playing has made the hairs on my body stand up, and given me the biggest goosebumps and chills. I believe God is speaking his healing and good plans through your gift.
The Postfelt for me. It sounded like it had more of the piano's mechanics in it. It reminds me of Olafur Arnald's Tomorrow's Song, one of my favourite soft-felt piano songs.
Hey, Sam! I’m a big fan of your channel, and your reviews are always super helpful. I’ve been trying to recreate the piano sound from Starry Night by Jordan Critz, but I can’t quite figure it out. The piano has a unique tone-less muffled than usual felt pianos, yet still soft and pleasant. Do you have any tips on how to achieve that sound? Maybe you know what VST or settings could help? Would really appreciate your advice!
Have you tried the Petrof felt in Modartt Pianoteq, Steinberg's Verve, which runs in HALion 7, and Spitfire Audio's Originals Felt Piano? All three sound great, IMHO.
another spitfire felt that is great and wont break the bank @ 29 bucks is the Spitfire Originals Felt Piano, i own the Intimate Grand, and it is so so good, for sucj a low price, :-)
Hi man, do you have Discord? I have some question about Noire. Cz my noire sounds so bad..... Maybe cz i don't have Piano To Play MiDi, so i just write the melodi on the DAW, could you tell me how much average Velocity on your playing ? Please
@@SamTheBeardGuy had to download kontak 6, then it makes me download native access, then i downloaded noire and once that was done, of course kontak6 was no longer compatible so had to download kontak 7 lol. At the end its pretty simple but as youre going through it youre just like damn i just wanna play some piano.
Best video on this I've seen.
This is exactly what I was looking for.
Thank you!
Just found your channel, by the second chord i was already subscribed. Beautiful
Thanks!!
wow, you were going wild with the Noire hahah love it
Thanks!
Were you improvising on a standard or specific song?
Love the playing!
thanks!
Noire Felt is insane. Thanks for the banger vid brother
Thanks for watching!
So beautiful Sam I really enjoy God bless you. I own Keyscape I can feel it and I love it so much what a great piano. But you play so beautiful 🔥🔥
Thank you 😊
Been playing the Noire for a couple years and I’ve never been uninspired while playing it…such a beautiful piano!
thanks!
I love your channel, please never stop doing this, I can see how much you love playing piano :)

It’s great! I love it
Instant inspiration when hearing you play brother.
Have you ever thought of having an overhead camera too so we can see what your fingers are playing?
I've done it before, it's just a ton of work. I used to do the midi piano overlay, now I just sell the midi.
Mate, your content is amazing.
If I can give a suggestion, if you could do these analysis, but for free piano stuff would be amazing lol
Yeah, that's not a bad idea. I'm just now super aware of what free pianos are out there that are good.
@@SamTheBeardGuy Labs soft piano is the king.

You should check out the Fracture Sounds Woodchester or Spotlight piano... They're KILLER good too.
Postfelt sounds like a typewriter.
It's definitely a niche sound
what Valhalla reverb you use, like for piano? use it for vocals? the VintageVerb, ValahallaPlate, Valhalla Room?
typically Vintage Verb. I use plate a good amount, don't use room as much

Don’t know about you but I feel all my pianos.
The postfelt sounds super alive
great video, what midi keyboard are you using?
Korg D1!
I have i5 p. For pc.. keyscape kinda weighty... will upgrade pc after some months... Have u tried Quiet piano.. anyway love ur content.
I have not tried it, but I'll check it out. Thanks!
Amazing vid bro. What song were you playing on the una corda?
Did you check Woodchester Piano? any thoughts on that?
not yet!
nice. What is the best digital piano you have used?
another spitfire felt that is great and wont break the bank @ 29 bucks is the Spitfire Originals Felt Piano, i own the Intimate Grand, and it is so so good, for sucj a low price, :-)
yeah, I've never checked it out but I guess I need to
@@SamTheBeardGuy ye. You need to check out Originals. Intimate grand. Which is a little felty. I don’t have their felt
What Olafur Arnalds pad do you use for worship? If you remember off the top of your head.
Evo Ambience I think is what it's called. It's like the first preset in the sonic warps folder
Awesome, thank you! Love your content and playing!@@SamTheBeardGuy
Hi !! do you use Noire live with noise on ?
Hi Sam,
How can I know if my pc meets the min requirements to run NOIRE piano?
I'm sure their website has a spec sheet for it
@@SamTheBeardGuy yeah everything works fine thanks for the replies! NOIRE is insane, is it your fav piano vst???

What keyboards ie being used as controller?
Why felt? It is an honest question - I never saw a manufacturer felt piano.
Just a sound a lot of people like haha.
I really want the noire! I hope it’s worth it cause it’s 50% off. Would you buy it now in 2024??? Anyone’s opinion is welcomed please 🙏
Is there an Upright Video coming?
I hadn't decided, I'm leaning towards probably not, but maybe I will. Stay tuned!
Looks like you woke the dog up he was dreaming had to reposition his self
hahaha, he gets a little fidgety
all these are too good, my poor wallet..
MAN i FUCKING hate native instruments, gotta download 7 different programs to run a damn piano patch
native access is a pain for sure. Besides that, they're not doing anything differently than other companies. What programs are you talking about?
