Thank you so much. I watched several videos about crop marks and none of them worked for me. I am so luck to find yours... now I can go to sleep confident for my task tomorrow :)
Best tutorial so far. Another tip is that you can just click "SHIFT" when selecting the borders, then change to horizontal then click shift again to select them all at once and you only have use. "STROKE" once.
i know Im asking randomly but does anyone know a tool to get back into an Instagram account? I stupidly lost the login password. I would love any tips you can give me.
That was a great tutorial. I'm surprised this function isn't already built in. I know you can add them in the print options. But sometimes I want crop marks in the actual visual file I'm working with. I wonder if you can just save the cut marks layer as a separate file and import it into whatever project you need? Awesome job! Keep up the great work.
Since the crop marks are on their own layer you should be able to just save the layer as a png (or even a JPG) and then you could use the crop marks for whatever size image you originally created them for. At least that's what I do using PE.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! You explained this so well and have helped me a ton. Now I need to figure out how to do this for multiple images on one page. For example 6 3x3 images on a 8.5x11 sheet.
Thank you for this!!!!! Question, if we wanted to make our image with two or more on one page would we save it as a png and then just add it to a new document to adjust then save it as a PDF?
Hi, I have an older version of photoshop and have done as you have shown right up to deselecting on the art board, however, I don’t see the faint lines as you have on your art board (before you use the rectangular marque box to select the area you want to delete the lines from). Any clues as to what I have done wrong? I’ve checked the settings up to this point and they are the same as displayed by you. Thanks for your help 😁
what do you do if your background is black? would you make the outside bits black as well and add white crop lines or a white border with black lines still
Yes, Adobe Illustrator or InDesign. There is a link to the illustrator tutorial in the description. Photoshop is made for photo editing, while Illustrator and InDesign are made for document designing and therefore allow for crop marks and bleeds.
Thank you so much for this awesome tutorial! It was very helpful. However, can you (or someone else) tell me how to do the delete backspace in photoshop to delete the marquee tool as you did at the conclusion of the video?
@@EternalStationeryMelbourne Hey! Nice to see your great work. I really want to know the model of your OKI printer, I'm looking for a great printer for my gold foil business cards. Thanks!
I have been struggling with other videos as they don’t give the Aussie alternatives! You are a freakin superstar and I think I’ll be back on track tomorrow. Thank you!!!

Good video. But I can't believe Adobe still hasn't made adding crop marks easy like in Illustrator.
It is incredibly annoying, isn’t it?! Would make life so much easier for 100% of their customers!
Completely agree! It's incredible for it not be a "one click" action like in Illustrator.
Thank you . Such a good, clear and simple way to make every photoshop file print ready. This has saved me hours of frustration.

This was helpful, but I can’t type ctrl; ? Maybe it’s because it’s a newer version of photoshop today, what to do then?😊

Is there another Adobe program in which it has the ability to add crop and bleeds and you don't have to do it manually?
