People talking about track days and stuff, which honestly is correct. But as somebody that grew up outside, but near a city, there are times and places it can be appropriate to give your car a run on public roads. Back roads with literally nobody else on them, go for it. 10 mile stretch of state highway between 2 towns with a total population of 800, open it up. But it is 100% NEVER the right place if there are residential houses with children. The number of speeding tickets he has isn't really a problem for me, it's where they are. They aren't "90 in a 70" or "65 in a 55" they're "60 in a 25" double the fuckin speed limit in residential areas with children about. Screw that. THAT is a reckless driver waiting to kill somebody.
The multiple infractions/tickets shown are when he got caught, minus the ones he may get away with verbal warnings. I bet he did that way more often, and not being punished for it just feeds the habit. It's a clear pattern.
Here's how I see it: if you can own an exotic car, you can rent private land for a while. Dont speed in a school zone because "your car wasnt made for under 30mph"
That Luigi guy is being dragged through the mud for having fun with his gun. Oh, wait, that's manslaughter, which could also have been the charges for MKBHD if he were less lucky.

Everyone's "fun" will definitely come to an end the day he's charged with Vehicular Manslaughter and goes to Prison.
The people saying he’s just having fun don’t get it: he’s endangering others where he lives. He can’t slow down and stop quickly enough if someone steps into the road. He can have fun with exotic cars for his car channel by going to a closed track. He can speed there and not put anyone at risk.

A little over 1 of 5 Americans get speeding tickets a year. It's not like it's that hard to imagine people with fast cars actually driving fast. That means it's the common Americans doing it and they don't even have fast cars. I'd think the people buying fast cars are buying them to go fast.

You can have fun with your exotic/fast cars without going over the speed limit. The trick is to keep corner speed up instead of going over the limit. Let’s be honest: if this weren’t a TH-camr, most of you wouldn’t even care. The idea that he’s abusing his wealth is baseless, especially since the police have handled him according to the law, like any other citizen. Financial stability or public status shouldn’t justify demands for disproportionate punishment. Justice is meant to be impartial, not swayed by someone’s popularity or income.
@ronto55 You're only pointing out a problem because you saw one video and decided to make assumptions without full context. In reality, many people receive warnings for similar offences, as police often use discretion based on circumstances like driving history or behaviour. You’re only aware of this case because of his fame and the recording, not because it's uncommon. MATE
@Stallas Alright, let me break this down with actual data and math. I checked public sources to confirm the speed was 59 mph in a 25 mph zone, which is a serious violation. Driving over twice the speed limit is considered reckless driving, and based on traffic law studies, offenses like this are rarely treated with leniency. When it comes to minor speeding violations, studies suggest that the chance of getting a warning is around 25%. But for major offenses like going more than twice the speed limit, the chance of a warning drops significantly to about 10% or lower. Since there’s a prior speeding note on the license plate, the likelihood of leniency is reduced even further. Based on data from traffic enforcement, this could lower the chance of getting a warning to 5% or even less. Additionally, if this happened in a school or residential zone, where enforcement is stricter, the chance of getting a warning decreases further. So realistically, the chance of getting a warning is around 4% at best. The 95% chance is that the driver would face a fine or more severe penalties. This isn’t just an assumption-it's based on actual data from law enforcement studies and traffic violation trends.
This type of drama always cracks me up because I know the people who criticize him heavily for this are the same people who also speed on a daily basis 💀
@@luay5503 I know this is a joke but it’s required because it’s based on the average time that a car will take to stop in reference to the distance it has from other cars. So if you exceed the speed limit and need to brake suddenly you are basically guaranteed to hit the person in front of you.

These are questions you should be able to answer if you make this claim with so much certainty.
@@2b2c1d2 It's called a repeated offence. He clearly never learned after the previous incidents, to the point he didn't even think to maybe not upload the recording to the internet.

@wasdc I’m white. If I ever drove like this, I should lose my license. And because I’m not rich, I probably would.
He gets a different reaction.
You can go have fun going fast in a fast car on a track, if youre on public roads you follow the law simple as
Even on public roads. Drive out to the middle Of nowhere so if you do something dumb you and maybe a cow are the only ones killed. Doing it an any aria with police and a 25mph speed limit is wild.
Take his license off, that's seriously reckless driving.
Just because your a big TH-camr, that doesn't make you above the law, it doesn't mean you can break laws and apologize when you do it.
Only cops can do that
@@platinum1234567890 not freely, if they chase someone. they can't decide to do it for no reason. they're trained, I guess. Conscious, I'd say.
If you’re constantly speeding, and even getting caught multiple times is enough evidence to say it’s consistent reckless bad driving behaviour. Regardless what vehicle it is that person is driving. It’s in my opinion he will continue to do so regardless of others views, penalties and so on until something very unfortunate will happen.
its more of a police issue tbh, they have way too much discretion when it comes to tickets
Considering no one cares after a month, it doesn’t matter. Logan Paul gets a way with arguably worse things and is always called out but still successful
Imagine how bad he must be when the cameras _aren’t_ rolling
There are plenty of SAFE places to have fun in exotic cars. Endangering people by speeding in public places is literally criminal.
Many things are "literally criminal" in vehicles that are morally okay or morally grey. This isn't one of those situations, but my point is not everything legally wrong is morally wrong in vehicles
@@jacobwebb8818You don’t have a point though, speeding is point blank illegal. There’s nothing grey there other than a prison cell.
@@jacobwebb8818
So Marquez going multiple times the speed limit, repeatedly, in child friendly zones (as these often happened in very low speed areas) isn’t "morally wrong"? Would it still not be morally wrong if he hit a child, because he had no time to react due to the insane speeds he’s going?
He's being dragged through the mud for committing multiple extreme driving infractions. That officer that let him off with a warning for going over double the speed limit should be fired, and this influencer should not have a fucking license at this point, what the fuck.
Unless the police actually decide to do anything, nothing will happen.
"After an internal investigation we've found that we've committed no wrongdoing."
They'll transfer that guy to the next town over and probably give him a raise.
Remember, apparently, if your rich, you can do anything as fines just become a pricetag rather than a punishment
He’s literal proof of “money doesn’t make you smarter”
And you’re proof that being poor makes you smarter? 😂
“Having fun in exotic cars” yeah more like endangering the lives of countless children and pedestrians when you inevitably spin out and fly through someone’s living room at mach 10
Even when they’re rich, they don’t change. A total disregard for all rules in society.
Cars are like Spider-Man. With great power steering comes great responsive handling.
“Fun in exotic cars”
Just go to a race track if you want to have fun in exotic cars.
Or some back roads when it's empty.

"Having Fun in Exptic Cars" is done away from pedestrians -- especially residential areas.
As a kid everyone played in or around local streets, riding bikes or even running after a stray ball.
Marques thinks he can do whatever he wants without consequences 😂
Well yes, because there are no consequences.

Safe driving is fun too. Especially fun for everyone who doesn't want to be involved in an accident. Be aware of other people.

There’s too many incidents where a pedestrian is struck and killed “having fun” it’s fun until they kill someone
This makes you wonder how many other TH-camrs that have car TH-cam channels that have been also caught speeding
A little over 1 of 5 Americans get speeding tickets a year. It's not like it's that hard to imagine people with fast cars actually driving fast. That means it's the common Americans doing it and they don't even have fast cars. I'd think the people buying fast cars are buying them to go fast.
Did NOT expect him to do that. The people who think he "just" wants to "have fun in exotic cars" well why don't u help build him a racing track

There's a time and a place for doing these things. A school zone is not one of them.
You should have fun in exotic cars... At a raceway for god's sake not a zone with children!
its not "having fun" its being irresponsible good lord people
You can have fun with your exotic/fast cars without going over the speed limit. The trick is to keep corner speed up instead of going over the limit. Well, and obviously have a buddy check the road first and maybe a few other buddies that sit at exits and give you info on the situation. Otherwise even the speed limit may not be totally safe in less frequented areas.
Or just rent a track instead of recklessly endangering others.
@@Wuwt6450 Best solution possilbe, sadly not always possible...
Mate he got a Warning for driving twice the speed limit. No Normal mortal would get a warning for speeding this much 😂
@ronto55 You're only pointing out a problem because you saw one video and decided to make assumptions without full context.
There is no verification that NJ police ever followed up on his 5 away from 100MPH stunt.
If he actually wanted to have fun and not break the law then he should’ve gone to the autobahn in Germany if he can afford a car like that

I'm sure Marques is a smart guy. I'm sure he knows how race tracks work.
As someone who lives in a third world country what the fuck is speed limit
@@luay5503 I know this is a joke but it’s required because it’s based on the average time that a car will take to stop in reference to the distance it has from other cars. So if you exceed the speed limit and need to brake suddenly you are basically guaranteed to hit the person in front of you.

There is a place that you can go to “have fun in exotic cars” and it’s called a race track. If you want to test the limits of a car then you should do it in a controlled environment. There’s no reason for doing those speeds in an area where you’re putting other peoples lives in danger.
I'm sorry but "having fun" doesn't pair well with putting pedestrian lives at risk. Do better, Marques.
