Too much synths. I still appreciate ID for some amazing memories, but I can't help feel that they're leaving their roots behind.
In fact their first demos and eps had synths like this . Drive , All Eyes, Pantomime etc are good examples.

The song is...meh .. his voice his good as always but those lyrics are kinda missing something. .or maybe it's the music like the instruments that sets me of...I feel like something ain't right while I listen to it and I get worried that, the group as a whole ain't doing good.
Oh yeah, this song is definitely missing... something. I can't quite put my finger on it. It needs a more powerful line of lyrics to go with "speechless", and it needs at least one instrument to be more pronounced and notable.
not a huge fan of the evolve/origins era. That being said, this song has some decent s+m vibes vocally and even lyrically at times, but I don’t care for the looped origins-eqsue instrumental. It doesn’t really go anywhere, which is disappointing.
