GSP was such an interesting champion! He was most exciting BEFORE he won the belt and when he got KO'd by Serra that transformed him into THE most intelligent fighter in MMA history... but imo he was fighting NOT to lose rather than to win b/c he had SO MUCH to lose. Which is completely understandable. NOBODY wants to lose, let alone in front of a viewing audience and countless people online.
There's absolutely no denying his success but for me I only watched b/c watching GSP fight was history. Once the fight started, it was fairly uneventful. Was a real shame, too! If he fought the way he did before getting KO'd by Serra at a championship level, I think he would've been not only the BEST but the most EXCITING fighter in combat sports history. Georges "Dey can't andle my riddum" St. Pierre was the best Georges imo lol.

If the ufc paid big money like the top boxers make, then you would see people who don’t make the pros in football, basketball, soccer etc. some would move to mma.
