BABYMONSTER reaches highest peak of 5th generation group albums on US iTunes after eliminating ILLIT

"Babymonster" managed to take the highest position previously achieved by "Super Real Me", confirming its dominance over the group's release Illit.
Illit's "Super Real Me" album was only able to reach 16th position.
Babymonster's "Babymons7er" album reached number 9 on Itunes US.

Baby Monster and Illit are definitely the top 5th generation gg's today. In the long run the key is going to be will these "new" gg's be able to sustain continued growth and separate themselves from the rest over the long haul. Where will they be 5 or 7 years from now. At this point I'd have to give the advantage to BM mainly because of the insane musical talents each of the members possess. Of course having the support and financial backing of a large established company doesn't hurt either. Having a successful debut is one thing. But what are you going to show us moving forward? Will you be able to keep fan attention with successive come backs? We shall see.
