Welp...Since I have my Braces for 2 years now almost 3yrs I recommend you purple!!!,It’s the best color and It goes perfect for almost everything!!~...
for first time prolly purple just like mama! mine used to be gray as a go-to bc it blends well with the wire. red and pink also suits well depending if ure wearing lipsticks or just depending with the colour of your lips. and blue is also pretty cuz its the closest with gray. i tried black bc it suits some people but i didnt like it on me lol you should try it tho! sorry for the long reply teehee
