Come and join some lovely UAENA in our Discord: discord.gg/cY4y9UZTTF As I say in the video, this will be the last IU Palette reaction video for 2 weeks. I WILL BE BACK. :)
She does not really enjoy summer because of the heat but since her World Tour was during summer, it became a memorable one for her. She will not release the song. IU and Seo Dong-hwan, composer of Love Wins All wrote it. It was a 2-day concert with about 53k in attendance per night. "You are the best, Lee SoonShin" in 2013 was the first starring role of IU in a drama and she recommended In Na to play her sister. IU, In Na and Nicole of Kara were part of variety show Heroes back in 2010. That was where IU and In Na met and started their friendship.
It’s an unreleased song for that concert. If you have time on your own, it would be nice to replay it again while reading the lyrics, as she’s supposed to mention her summer tour.
This year's encore concerts were in a different stadium than 2022's The Golden Hour. Olympic vs World Cup stadium, I believe. I read somewhere that the 2022 stadium used to be the venue with most seats in Korea, but since it is being renovated, it will end up having less seats than 2024's stadium, which is now the largest venue.
They did drama together, and they were even sisters in it! It's call You're the Best Lee Sun Shin (or some even spelled it as Lee Soon Shin). One of IU's earlier drama and I think it was IU's first lead role as well.
50:15 Yeah, the Korean language doesn't have a V sound in it. It also doesn't have Z or F. The V sound is replaced with a B, Z is replaced with a J, and F is replaced with a P. R and L are also pretty interchangeable with each other.
Letters like m, n, etc are also often difficult to understand, since they don't "hum" with nasal sounds while the air is cut off in the mouth. They keep them very short. Making the m often sound like a b (for example "mianhae" (I'm sorry) sounds almost like 'bianhae'), and the n like a d (for example "noona" (big sister) almost sounds like 'doona'. And there's plenty more unique sounds that are difficult for us to distinguish, as we don't use those mouth shapes 😊
This episode is so funny 🤣 The joke is about the Korean similar pronunciation of the bank's name and "too pretty" 😅 (I think gen Z are the people born after 1996 or something similar...)
I watched theseries Bora! Deborah, it was an interesting little rom-com about a deeply flawed character. One jarring bit, though, the writer out of the blue had the character quote Donald Trump! What? Where did THAT line come from?

If someone asks me to explains what BFF or Bestie means I refer to IU an Yoo In na and those two Palette episodes !

한국어 노래라 가사 없으면 무슨 의미인지 모를 텐데 아이유 목소리에 더 집중하고 리액션하는 게 느껴져 감동이에요💜
Yes, this song is IU's new song~

It’s ok ross, we ( uaena ) will always wait for IU

...and IU and You Inna acted together in the 50 episodes family drama "You are the Best Lee Soon Shin" 😉
Youre right about v sounds being pronounced with a b. There is no v in the korean alphabet
