This series only has a couple of outright adaptations from the stories, but I've noticed that some of them borrowed elements from the stories without being actual adaptations.
you have to keep in mind that this is made for TV and the year is 52 i think so 8 years after WW2 were the world is still rebuilding itself . you wont see blood or even man guns and thats OK , they are carried by the storyline and that worked then and even today i find them enjoyable . do make me feel my age a bit, but thats OK too
