Offer your life to him and come as you are !! Dude, don't give up if there is no answer keep pestering God till he gives you one! If you feel no connection, then go for a PROPER confession or better yet religious counselling (pour all your heart out to the priest who is actually a representative of Jesus/God). Getting it all out is better no matter how embarrassing it is. I was super embarrassed to do a confession because my sin was something really personal and awkward which the reason I procrastinated doing it. I ugly cried during my entire confession but later felt so great that it was like you were filled with attending some retreats and believe that your life will change for the better when you attend it !! God will accept you back as long as you are truly sorry for what you have done against him !!
It’s ok to be angry at God he knows where you have been, your hurts, disappointments, I had to ask him to help me in the place I was at, every situation in my life he has been their and was faithful , sometimes I needed to be still. But waiting was right , better than I could of image, every situation, health , money, death in my family.
