Hailing from Tehran now based in Istanbul, Badador a bit unorthodox in this sense as most DJs start out by mixing, but he has always been interested in the art of making music and his interest in DJing was developed afterward.
His interest in the modular world was started by the release of VCV Rack in 2018 and a little while after he started buying modules and building a modular rack. In 2020 he started his own label called Sanati in order to collaborate with Iranian and foreign artists.
Whether he’s doing a live set with his modular synths or DJing, he’s always trying to stretch the boundaries and find new sounds. His style ranges from hypnotic and atmospheric, to a different one, hard and dark, often with industrial influences.
