Naga girls always wanted to live a luxurious life and become blind chasing after the money and marrying non locals is creating lot of problems everyday in our state. Government should implement strict rules for those naga women married to non locals.
To prevent this issue, now, Mizoram is not issuing any tribal certificate to any individuals who are married to non local. We need such move in our State too immediately.

Its been more then 15 years that Mr Abdul was appointed as GB illegally and why only today Muslim Council Dimapur is against the appointment. What were they doing for the past 15 years? It looks very fishy. If not he was caught by NSCN - IM then they would still keep silent only when the case is brought into limelight they are speaking out.

We Nagas need to change our laws. There have been appointment of marwari, gorkha people as GBs for administrative convenience as mentioned. There has been a miya GB before this man as well. So if we want change, we need to review the existing laws and make changes so that such appointments are not allowed and GB position remains among our people.We otherwise cannot just blame ppl and say appointment is illegal
