If you are in the market to get a home theatre in a box for about 30 to 35k, there are a bunch of options to choose from. You have some from Yamaha, Onkyo, Panasonic, Samsung, Philips, Logitech and more. In the case of the Sony HT-S500RF it has a few things going for it. It is well built, has a plug and play formula, and for watching movies, TV shows and gaming will be a good addition to your flat screen TV. However, the lack of HDMI pass through is dearly missed and the fact that all the connection options are at the back of the sub, means that placement can get restrictive. Like us, you can invest in a really long HDMI cable to exploit positioning of the sub. The key thing to consider is the size of your room. If it is a bedroom or a small living room, then a home theatre can be an overkill. You can do good by getting a soundbar. However, if you have the space and are about to venture into the world of home theatres and don’t want to build a custom one, and are looking for an out of box solution as your first system, then yes, you can consider it. Hi sir. I have a doubt on connecting Hdmi earc to Soundbar or mi box. Which is the best way to get 5.1 surround sound. Through mi or LG 65inch nenocell Tv. My soundbar is Sony hts 700 rf.
Check if TV has HDMI ARC port available, if it’s available then connect other end to your hts700rf ARC port.

Bhai BDV e4100 bohot puraana model hai. I have it and it sounds awesome but lacks little bit of clarity.
why are 5.1 videos from youtube and all OTT platforms playing very muffled and low. Switching to regular audio track makes it play normally. Playing with 5.1 audio track is bad. How to fix this ?

Of course 500 RF. S40 R audio is very muddy and just good for music. If u watch movies, dialogues will be muffled,.

@@professor7993 bought s500rf. At my location there was no Samsung spekers for demo. Also i asked to Sony installation guy, he said s500rf is way better than s40r. There is a problem with rear speaker of s40r (gives some noise while idle).

@@kasht427 I have used it for almost an month now. I downloaded Maverick dolby movie (8gb) specially for testing the speakrts and it really gives a theatre like experience. Just do increase rear speaker volume to full and set the distance from rear speakers for best effect. The sony installation guys dont have mich knowlege so i did some trial and error and fixed the installation position. Also i would say if u have sony bravia u should go only for Sony speakers because of bravia sync (Auto on/off and volume levels can be set by tv remote). Also i feel dts sound is better than dolby.
If u have the budget go for it. Or if can wait for 1-2 yrs, buy a new version.

Brother sony ht s500rf ki website me likha h total output of subwoofer 240w but in this subwoofer showing 140w so can you tell me what is that is that 1000w real or just claiming plz tell@@thestrongman139
@@lakshyakecomedycontent8562 if you connect with hdmi port you will get 1000w output and also you will get 240w output from subwoofer real sound clearly you will get but if you connect via Bluetooth and other than you will get 600w output i hope you understand thanks.

Dolby Atmos is the latest technology. These models of sony was a flop . No new manufacturing sellyold left over stocks.
