This is a movie you can almost figure out half of the story from the trailer itself, still it is getting all the good eyebrow raises because of the cinematography and how much value the makers themselves are giving to it. A clear example of it is having Shakun Batra at the table instead of just calling the star cast and playing never have I ever or rapid fire.

No matter how much Deepika tries to show she is best friends with them,but it's clear from Sid and Ananya's reactions that they are not friends with Deepika in real.They look kinda uncomfortable with her. Indefinitely is a BAD thing,Deepika.There is nothing complex about it.
This is the thing I HATE about this show, they invite people to eat and then don't give them chance to eat! At least give 15/20 minutes in between to finish their meal and then ask these stupid questions! 🙄
The main reason they come to such shows is for promotion so obviously they'll concentrate on that more

I like Deepika, someone told observe when she talks. Now when I did, never noticed Deepika does 'aghh, ahh, ahha' in every sentence. it's annoying!! For a person who's been in this industry for 15 years, she struggles so much to talk..
It’s actually quite acceptable in English speaking countries to take pauses and tell umm, ahh and all while talking. For example you can watch harry styles’s interviews and he is from the UK and he speaks in a similar manner. I also studied in the UK so noticed it. People who take pauses don’t want to blabber out stuff and want to articulate their lines properly 🙈❤️

Period. & I'm aware of people in US, UK and how they speak. Second of all, no, it's not abt her articulating things , even if she does that, the next sentence she tells, is nothing extraordinary, it's like common sentence, whatever it is. She needs to work on her speaking, although I never had any problem with her Indian accent. It's just very annoying, & doesn't have a flow also. Unlike people who take pauses and speak. Ps. I'm not her hater, bt I really want her to work on her communication skills & diction. & it doesn't happen when she talks in hindi, Kannada or konkani as such, or even in movies. I like her onscreen tho.

I don’t know if you are his huge fan or not but my answer was regarding the use of umm and ahh which Harry very often uses and as you said it’s music to our ears when he speaks. But, we can’t ignore the fact that he is British and has spoken English all his life. Blaming Deepika is like blaming Harry Styles for having anxiety issues before going to the stage. Despite of him being doing huge concerts for more than 10 years. TPWK❤️

Most of their MT isn't English, that's the reason all of them get trained. I just told, she needs to improve, if she wants to talk in English or else, she can talk in hindi, no issue at ll. But if you choose to speak in English, why don't you put efforts & speak properly? Since she's done HW movies, it'll be helpful for her. I'm talking from viewers' pov.

Even if years pass by and even if they work hard on it. I’m sure she is trained and all but still struggles. I think she is trying her best (I’m not even her fan). Also, I know people who have anxiety issues and fumble and lose words when they are interviewed or are in stage. But as I mentioned I get your point. Hope you get mine too.
