I learned this from my senior when I audition for my university dance crew: "if you can't control your hair, just tie it up". I used to have long hair like these girls and I don't know how to control it, so it always get all over the place, cover my face, super messy. I can't focus on dancing while keep fixing my hair. I was extremely nervous so it looks really clumsy and hard to watch. Since they gonna become idol, they need to practice how to control their hair Edit: I have watched some clips of the show, I guess the girls here is just home-training, they aren't trainee from company so they don't have proper train and no one teach them about that. And they seem so young too I'm shook. Much younger than girls who join Produce 101
My teacher also said the same thing!! I'm not a professional dancer but I once participated in a dance competition between schools, my hair is thin and quickly limp so it's very annoying. I didn't tie it but cut it into a pixie cut, and until now I've never had long hair. LOL
yeah it's easeier to kinda just wing your hair out either if it's thick af or curly since it has more 'weight' to it while thin hair tends to fly everywhere lmao
Aiki is so lucky to have a husband who is always beside her and has a continuous support of her passion in dancing. 'Coz there are men who will command their wives to stop in what they are doing to focus more on their family life...

The hair issue is one of my pet peeves. If you're going to showcase your dance, have your hair (only if possible) tied up, braided or in a bun. It makes the performance neater and you can see the facial expressions clearly. ITZY is a good example as they often have more than 3 members with their hair tied up in their dance practice videos.
I don’t know how much she charge but its really expensive. Few hundreds just for the basic course and if you don’t have patient or time you should stop there. Couple thousands to level up to intermediate for studios like 1 million.
@@MiuXiu I already checked like 2 months ago lol...I asked just to be sure because 40 classes in one million dance studio (which is the maximum) doesn't even reach 500$ But it is more than just a "several" thousand in won, 400,000 won but like I said, 1000 won is cheap in korea like you can only buy some street food with it...so a middle class can probably afford it after a few months of saving
The director of my dance academy always say tha it's ok to forgot dance moves but try to not look like you are lost in the choreograpy, and of course it's normal if you forgot your part sometimes but when it happen a lot of times is a big problem. And hair can be a good "extra" while dancing but if you don't know how to manage it you will look silly and messy.
This isn't even strict at all, they were in a competition and self discipline between the dance/mindset should be respected, they weren't little kids at all but goodluck
girls please tie your hair.. most of them shoving their hair while dancing.. they are all concious about their look while dancing and its distracting them
Yes and no, girls need to manage how to dance with their hairs in their faces. ways to hold their head at certain angles to get it out of the face and get used to the feeling of it. When they debut, you can't choose your hairstyle and you can't constantly push it out of the way on shows, so they have to learn at some point
@@MissyxAkunai I agree with this, girls really do need to know how to manage their hairs; but that can be learn during practice, if she's still conscious abt it and still get distracted when she have a progression test the hair needs to be tied.
@@lacey8702 They don't have time to tie their hair. I think this was mentioned very briefly or in the full ep version, but these girls are training in a survival competition. They are about to hit the stage to showcase themselves to the world, they don't have the luxury of regular trainees to learn (if this were a normal dance class then it would be a lot different). Honestly if you compare it to PD101 series/GP999, Aiki is at least teaching them. She expects them to be at a specific level, especially since she's the one of the people who chose them. They have one to two weeks to learn this stuff, before their progress gets broadcasted and their individual cams get shared on YT or another online video platform. They won't have their hair tied up for that and even in future performances, they don't get a choice on how their hair is styled. Learn now or be eliminated essentially.

It's from mbc new survival show but only prequel to it called hesitation before school The show will officially air on 28 November and the show called My teenage girls broadcast by MBC
In this scene, aiki teach the 4th grade student which is the senior and older than other grade of contestants (aged 19+older) The contestants divided to 1st grade, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade (by age)
Finally someone pointed that out..i was so frustrated sometimes when someone was dancing and "swept" their hair..they were doing it nonstop..i remember this one girl in a girl group, she has a habit touching her hair nonstop while dancing onstage..i stopped watching her (onstage) since then😂i liked her but hmmm..
This particular show is called The Manager / The Omniscient Interfering View, which follows managers and or only the celebs (if they don't have a manager). Essentially the point of the show is to showcase the behind the scenes of a celeb's life, ie travelling between gigs, setting up for events, etc... Aiki is showcasing her daily life (even features her daughter), and the day she was filming for the manager, also happened to be the day of the interim check/class for My Teenage Girl, a survival girl group show by MBC.
Maybe so, but she's already repenting her mistake, second guessing herself about whether she's eligible to teach classes or not. If she were being prideful and defensive, then that would be a different story. But she can't just stop doing her job just because of that one mistake. Being a professional is not just about being able to perfect the moves but to also learn from your mistakes and rectify them. Obviously if the students aren't doing it right, constructive criticism should definitely be given out. She's clearly being strict about it because she doesn't want her students to make the same mistakes as her in the future.
its literally not lol she's a professional and knows exactly what mistakes she made and how to correct them, whereas her students are all relatively new to dancing and would have a hard time knowing their mistakes in their dance moves even if they did remember them so if they forget and cannot show her for her to make a critique the students cannot progress their current level and improve
@@Hopelesstrends19 You can act 'professional' without being extremely strict while adding pressure on them, although I know being a trainee is no joke but I mean they're not gon stop global warming either.
She's strict when the students didn't did their part right also she will give a generous comment if the students made a good job. Also that's part of learning, whenever you learn something there are someone who learn it before you so probably they will cause a fuss because you made something wrong. So what would you gonna do?
