Fantastic. I've been making a scale model so it's great for me to see this. There's a good photo of the one at East Leake at Disused Stations website. I think there is still one at Quorn, they are of the same design.
This could be a really special place given some care and landscaping. The whole line from here through Helmdon onto Brackley Viaduct in fact. The pine trees got me pretty excited, I LOVE them so.
I lived as a young child in Culworth in the late 70's early 80's and remember the bridge at the Eydon Road end of the village, since taken down. I don't know if it is still there, but I remember a rail signal still standing just after the bridge abutment (towards Eydon)...
It's interesting seeing the GCR today. I explored Culworth and other points all the way to Leicester Central over a week back in 1988. It has changed a lot since then.
Good explore Neil. There is another wooden pway hut similar to this in the deep cutting east of Thorpe Road near Thorpe Mandeville on GC/GW link to Banbury. There's also an interesting bridge at the end of that cutting that's worth seeing. Heading west from Thorpe Road, there's another later concrete LNER pway hut, still in good condition too. Happy exploring 👍

That scramble is very reminiscent of the one I took to get to Dunton Bassett on the GCR north of Lutterworth, I'm sure those thick bramble/thorn bushes only grow on disused railway lines!!!! You're right, it was an incredible find a real gem as you called it, I've never seen one with brickwork and concrete sides, very unusual. At the beginning of the video, @25 seconds, you had a great shot of the trackbed heading north from the place you began your walk, it looked very clear and ripe for a bit of an explore.
