Dennis Daniels That's right. Her name was Carlotta Monti and she also appeared as Franklin Pangborn's secretary Fields' last movie Never Give a Sucker an Even Break. There's a lovely story about her during Fields' last few days in 1946. Fields loved the sound of rain falling, and as he lay dying she went outside and used the garden hose to spray water on the roof over his bedroom.
I applaud Ambrose for punching out Claude! I despise Claude because he mooches off on others. He stole a 15 dollar ticket from Ambrose and went to the wrestling matches himself! I also hated him for making false accusations about Ambrose and the secretary getting drunk and falling into the gutter when that never happened!
