Mr. McEntire, you are a different DM, but you are also a great DM. I adore both yours and Mr. Mercer's style. You are both engaged in the story but willing to let the players create it within your framework, rather than steamrolling your players into "sticking to the story line", and both of your NPC's?! EPIC! I genuinely felt sorry for Morgan (thanks to you). I see all of the Grenweards as individual people and I DETEST the Spider Prince, and that is all due to your DM'ing. I've been DM'ing from the late 70's and have learned so much from Mr. Mercer AND you. THANK YOU for all you do!
Preach! I find it so easy to watch, but I love the lore and all the twists and turns. This is the first Actual Play where I'm like "I'd like to so much drop into the game with a character of my own and play along!"
I really loved the way Harry did such a generous and detailed description of that broken +1 crossbow. He made it sound so wonderful. It was great. I wanted one. 😀
‘The possibility of an answer is here…if it is really here, and I were told the truth, is it a truth I would want to know’ …. What an amazingly beautiful set of words for role play.
The moment you played the Aztec death whistle, I called that out! My cousin had me 3D print one for him to freak out his dorm in college, so I recognized it.
On the topic of playing amnesiac characters, yeah thats the big struggle, the fun being that you dont know and are surprised by everything, but can't control when a thing is going to come out, it is down to luck if it's satisfying or not. Brennan Lee Mulligan of Dimension 20 talked about player motivations once and it stuck with me, as a player you want the winding path and natural hero's journey but as a character you want the straightest path and quickest resolution possible. With an amnesiac character, its hard because some characters want the stability of figuring out who they are (as not knowing the truth can put everyone in danger), but the player doesnt just want to instantly know everything.
Phew, all caught up! What a great ride it's been so far...the chemistry between you all is fantastic, and it feels like I'm still watching actual DnD (unlike other over-produced shows!). Quick question: will any of you be at PAX Unplugged this year?
Watching, but briefly lured away to this on TH-cam: 1980: The JOY of ROLE-PLAYING GAMES | Heart of the Matter | Retro Gaming | BBC Archive. You stand upon the shoulders of giants!
The mystery of the bright blue water still bothers me so much!! 😂 I think if I were playing, I would be the PC who always pulls every quest thread the DM put in front me, the main story arc be damned 🤠
They walked through the blue floodland and visited the Doscent’s temple of love, and yet still no one picked up on the real link to the sisters of mercy… 🤔
First, I don't have a lot of DM experience, but you, Sir Harry, are upper echelon for sure. Second, I don't know if I should be happy or left out that there has never been genital reveals at any party I've been to. Doug has been to some very special parties. And finally, for the love of Reliquiae will SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE BEN A GOODY!!!

Just watched the whole thing. I love mellow episodes. I’m still ticked by the bright blue water in the river. See you all in the next episode!
Sad that i'm all caught up now and have to wait for the rest of this story! Loving the pacing and growing to love the characters and DM as well.

it's always the highlight of my day when i see a new upload
I loved the Docent of Grace. That's a great character to use to unfold story threads.
Awesome Action Surge and Amazing Episode, Loved them both but I think things are just getting better and better!
The moment you played the Aztec death whistle, I called that out! My cousin had me 3D print one for him to freak out his dorm in college, so I recognized it.
What a lovely episode! I really enjoy the insights and discussion about your characters and story.
Brilliant episode as always
D&D Bay-BEee!!! 🎉 Another insightful and entertaining episode. Love it! Excited for Serving Cantrip ✨️
Always happy to hear your insights into the episode. Thank you for sharing this with us and wish you all a very lovely day.
This show is exquisite. All of you are such fantastic storytellers and performers. Thank you
The dress! all the fun stuff
Sorry Harry, Fighters always got the extra Feat/ASI at 6 and 14 :)

The thought of someone proposing at someone else's wedding without any given notice makes me cringe too.
Woohoo let's go!
Fighters already got extra ASIs in 2014, but it's an easy-to-overlook feature.
Rogues also get an extra ASI, at level 10.
I love a good shopping episode tbh!

You stand upon the shoulders of giants!
Once again amazing
I took part in a 24 hour session once - mind you I was MUCH younger. (And it was D&D 3.5...)

Just wondering are you guys doing pre booking/reservations for EGX or will it be first come first serve.
Just first come, first served - Hollie
@@NaturalSix I'll be there as early as I can be. Thank you
This whole thing has been amazing. Except Ben Star... he's a little weird. jk jk Loved the whole cast
Right now, there are 69 likes (Nice).
I want to like the video sooo bad...
Would have been cool if it was cheaper and they all got a truth
Nobody said The Sisters of Mercy was a band. So disappointing. More Goth representation in media please.
