Very easy for leveled terrain. Never presented, jungle and big inclination of the surface of terrain. It´s better use a trigger geophone: No mess with cables and generate less noises when the strikes plates. Hammer always 20 lb. Juan Castaño. From Colombia South america
MASW is not suggested for surfaces with big inclination. All you need is actually a somewhat flat surface. And this video IS supposed to exhibit the MASW method.
Why use vertical hammer ? Why do you use vertical geophones in MASW method You want to calculate surface waves. Why don't you use the horizontal hammer? As well as using the horizontal geophones?
Is there any possible to use first geophone as a trigger switch ? Can you upload that how to use the method.
Hi Stefan. Is it OK to also conduct a shot at the middle of the survey line?
it has no meaning, only if you want to verify your data quality.
@@mohamedsaidoucherif2278 thanks for the reply!
How long would it take to set up the equipment and conduct the test?
Two hours if youre efficient
geophone vertical or horizontal? what the different?
