    Very easy for leveled terrain. Never presented, jungle and big inclination of the surface of terrain. It´s better use a trigger geophone: No mess with cables and generate less noises when the strikes plates. Hammer always 20 lb. Juan Castaño. From Colombia South america

      MASW is not suggested for surfaces with big inclination. All you need is actually a somewhat flat surface. And this video IS supposed to exhibit the MASW method.

    Why use vertical hammer ? Why do you use vertical geophones in MASW method
    You want to calculate surface waves. Why don't you use the horizontal hammer? As well as using the horizontal geophones?
