William Wallace is a Scottish commander. Historically, it was common for the Scots to use axes as weapons. During the design phase, we discussed two options: holding an axe and holding a sword.
The final design effect made Wallace look very beautiful and special with an axe, so we finally decided to let him appear with an axe. RoK is a game that respects culture and history.
We created these commanders with the greatest sincerity, hoping that they can have unique charm while maintaining sufficient historical seriousness. We also retained the element of the two-handed sword, which you will find after Wallace is officially launched. We hope you like it!

William Wallace is an admirable historical figure whose courage and patriotism inspired countless people. He is often depicted in history as a two-handed swordsman, as evidenced by many sculptures and paintings.
In our design, we wanted to highlight William Wallace as the 'guardian of the spirit freedom', so we designed Wallace holding a shield.
At the same time, we noticed that it was difficult to fight with a large shield and a heavy two-handed sword. Considering that the axe is also one of the common weapons of the Scotsmen, we finally chose a one-handed axe with a shield as William Wallace's fighting image. And out of respect for history, we retained William Wallace's two-handed sword element in the game and placed it in a prominent position.

dont judge infrantry, look better on cav cuz they planty like rats xd. all is ok whit new commander and not all games focus on history and something like that so yea.
