Hot take, but it's not that fun to speedrun a game that's completely random every run. I don't like speedruns in general, I just think it's rarted to run past everything people worked on for years just to shave a few seconds off, but that's not the point. I can kinda understand the sportsMaNship behind trying to finish a linear game as fast as possible, at least it makes sense. But whenever people speedrun Minecraft or Isaac or something le that where literally the RNG gods decide whether you get a quick run or a slow one, that's just unfair to each other. Maybe I'm wrong on this, but speedrunning feels like it's more a display of skill than pure luck.
