Only one thing can save you every day in every way from the repeated constant inducements to ride the long black train. Your faith that your Lord Jesus is always with you, strengthening you always to resist the temptations of Satan, who Jesus when he walked this Earth as a man was tempted even as we are by Satan, and resisted Satan every time being strengthened by faith as He replied to Satan with admonishment by Holy Scripture. Straight is the path and narrow is the way. Pray believing, asking the Holy Spirit be with you on your temporary journey through life on Earth.
